So far, excellent.
So far this inexpensive Milanese Apple Watch band has held up well. I've used for ten days. The band feels good and looks good (one small reservation) and has not shown any immediate signs of wear-and-tear. It fits well within the watch channels without any wiggles, so the engineering is precise.I took it to the Apple Store and compared it to the genuine $199 OEM Milanese band. The Orobay band is slightly lighter in weight than Apple's. Oddly, the Apple band is kinkier (Down, boy!) than the Orobay band. By that, I mean that when the Apple band is laying on the table top, it tends to have more kinks than does the Orobay band. But when you pull the Apple band out flat, the kinks go away. Some reviewers have said that the coloring of the Orobay band wears off, leaving silvery spots. But I've not noticed this yet. So far, the coloring on this Space Gray band is holding up well. And the Space Gray color matches the watch accurately. The other item to note is that the mesh on the genuine Apple band fits better within the lug (the lug is the part that slides into the watch channel) than does the mesh on the Orobay band. See the photo. The Apple mesh fits through the slot of the lug with minimal clearance that gives it a clean look. The Orobay mesh is maybe a millimeter slimmer than the Apple mesh and does not quite fill the slot in the lug. But this is a minor point and not noticeable unless you're examining it really closely. And hey, $199 versus $13?UPDATE: 28 AUGUST 2018. More than three months later and this band is still going strong. No significant wear-and-tear. No fading of the space grey color. A couple of spots under the hitch-back of the band have worn a bit shiny, but the color (despite the shine) remains space grey. All of the visible parts of the band look near-new. I still give it five stars.

Item is NOT as pictured on Amazon
Be aware that the item shipped does not bear the same AISN code as called out in the product details on Amazon. The item is also NOT at all what is pictured on Amazon. There are no quick release pins next to the lugs (see screen grab of product closeup). Also, the lugs (or lug connectors, rather) DO NOT have the milanese loop secured as seen in the product photos (see screen grab of product closeup). Compare these images to mine (with the wood table). What you're getting is not what you're buying.

Tingling Hand
Update: I left this review after receiving the product and using it for about a week. After I posted this review the company contacted me and offered me a replacement or refund since the product did not satisfy my needs. I opted for a refund and they asked me to update my review with the continued experience. I updated my review from 3 to 4 stars as the company has been very attentive and responsive with their customer service. My view of the product itself remains unchanged, but they have certainly shown that they care about the customer’s experience and are willing to listen to feedback.Original Review: I am not a fan of this band. I have noticed it makes my hand tingle. I think the magnets maybe causing the watch body and band to compress my wrist. I worked with it about a week. Each time I wore it I got the same feeling. I loosened it, I tried it on my other wrist, same thing happened. I now use the Nike band that came with it. And have no trouble. Maybe I’m sensitive to this, but I definitely cannot wear this band. That being said, the construction is great. It looks good, it was starting to get some wear, nothing out of proportion to my use. I think it’s a great more affordable, alternative to the Milanese loop band from Apple.

Just W̶o̶n̶d̶e̶r̶f̶u̶l̶ eh, It turns out not.
Addenda 2 - Here is, I think, the answer to the finish wearing: Let it!Seriously. The first several wear areas and scratches are somewhat unsightly. But with daily wear the *entire* finish starts to wear down and the band takes on a patina and again looks pretty good. :)Addenda: I contacted OROBAY directly about the problem described below and they offered a replacement at no charge. As to avoiding the problem recurring this advice was offered: "As the color of all Milanese Loop band in the market is electroplated, pls kindly avoid frequent friction like wearing it while desk work, because frequently rubbing with the hard surface may peel the electroplated color off easily, especially on the closure part."I do not know how practical that is, but as to the company and their service and honesty I can offer only deserved praise.* * * * *I am here upfront editing and downgrading my initial review from two months ago.Yes, the band is still comfortable. But it now is starting to look awful. (See attached photos) This despite gentle use. The finish, initially so lovely, is now after only less than three months use, is wearing away.My message to the vendor bought no reply so I am revising my review.Disappointed? And how!Such is not universal with these straps. I know someone who bought a different one and it still looked good after well over a year. :(I recently got an iWatch 4 and for cost considerations chose the aluminum model with the silicon rubber band. Its comfort was superb, but its look was a bit more "informal" than I prefer for daily wear. (It'd be fine for sports use though.)Orobay's Milanese band was to me the perfect answer. My watch is "space gray" and the Orobay color match is right on.The quality of this band in no way is suggested by its very reasonable price. It looks great! And to my amazement it is almost as comfortable as was the original soft band. The magnetic catch is strong and secure, and the design, which keeps the band as a loop that one slips over their hand, instead of being two pieces that need to be attached, makes putting the watch on not only easier than with the original, but far more secure, too, from accidental drops.Only time will speak to its durability, especially that of the finish, but an owner I know who has used one for some time found her's just fine. It still looks good after daily use for several years.Just wonderful! And highly recommended!
