A perfect solution for our application!
A friend of mine told me about the Cymatic Audio LR-16 when we were talking about capturing multi-tracked live audio for the purpose of mixing the tracks to lock sync with video for our television broadcast. After trying a few other software based options that required the use of my personal MacBook Pro, I thought I would give this product a try. This was exactly what I was looking for! It is a stand-alone unit that can record to SD cards or portable hard drives, which then transfer easily to a computer for the editing and mixing of the recorded tracks. After working out a few initial glitches with the capture devices, it is working flawlessly. If it seems like this would fit the application you may be looking for, I would highly recommend giving it a try.

Super easy to use
Been using this every weekend to multitrack live worship. Super easy to use. Works simply and reliable so far. Audio quality is fantastic. WELL worth the money if you can still find one.

So far, I am blown away!!!Used this for the first time Saturday night... running about 10 channels at once.Dumped the waves into SONAR without problem.GREAT way to record a live band!FINALLY not trapped to the FOH output and EQ'ing!!!!

Uncomplicate your recordings with Cymatic live recorder
Very easy to set up..we use a flash drive to record service, then media tech downloads into computer and tweeks the recording , then sends it out over our web site..the best we have found to record our services with!!!

Hardware fine, software not
Hardware worked fine, but interface would not work on a Windows 7 machine despite trying everything that Cymatic customer support suggested. Returning and getting an ICE-16. Too bad. . .

Works like a champ in the practice lounge. Going to give it it's first test on the road tonite! Works great with SanDisk 2.0 USB 16GB flash drives or connected to a laptop running Pro Tools!

Reibungslose und unkomplizierte Aufnahme von bis zu 16 (Mono-)Spuren. Aufnahmequalität ist ausgezeichnet. Handhabung und Verkabelung ist einfach. Die Bedienung ist (fast) selbsterklärend.

やはり高機能で使いにくいより、シンプルで使いやすい方が大事にできそう。ただ、フルスペックでの24bit 48k 16trackで同時録音の際に上手く録音できなかった。16bit 44.1k で16trackの同時録音だと上手くいく。USB3.0 のHDDでもSSDでも同じ結果でした。
