these planer blades were perfect for my Makita 3 1/4 planer. quick and perfect replacement. Hight quality steel (HSS). Re-sharpening in future is provided. Includes 2 blades. work perfect.

Good value and cheaper than I could get it locally
The blades fit perfect, and cut surprisingly well, are easy to sharpen... I will definitely be buying more when these wear out

Better steel than I thought
I bought these blades to use in a dowel making jig. As such I need an extremely sharp edge, such as those I work on my hand plane irons. After several attempts and using the same techniques that give a shaving edge on irons and chisels, I gave up. However, I then reground the edge to 25 degrees and tried again and was able to get a very sharp edge that should work for my purposes. I cannot yet tell how durable the edge will be but it looks good so far.

As good as the OEM blades
I've had them installed on my Bosch 1594 and run them through oak, mahogany and cedar. No chatter and clean cuts.

Approx .015 too thick
Good blades, just Didn’t fit my equipment, too thick by approx .015. I Had assumed they would fit into a de- barking head that attaches to a chainsaw, which also uses a 3.25 inch planer blade.
