I caught Duel Masters back when anime was more common on the kid's TV channels. I began to wonder about the next episode and pretty soon I was hooked. For kids?...well yes but much of the humor is wasted on them. The first series was a satire on anime card based toons. There are references inserted all over and they are easily missed until watched several times. That is justification for buying the DVDs by an adult. But you can say it's for your kids or grandkids. Wink wink.
