This is a really terrific box of clips, perfect for updos. I have fairly fine hair so I've always had trouble finding claw-style clips that will securely hold my hair up; these are very sturdy and their slightly rough texture helps hold all of my hair up when I put it up in a rough french twist. I like that they come in their own plastic box; it holds all of these plus my collection of different sizes of Sure Grip Clix and bobby pins. My hair is too slippery to manage the half up/half down style with the smaller size but the big ones handle all of my hair easily. I also like that they're fairly low profile and simple and the plastic has a dull finish.

I have really long hair that is about medium thickness and these do wonderful for my hair. My hair stays in place all day long. I even used these clips for a workout at the gym, and my hair still stayed in place. All of the colors are super cute and are kind of a matte color. The case that they come in are really convenient as well. These are probably the best hair clips I’ve bought for such a cheap price. They don’t clip so tight that you feel like they’re pulling your hair, but they also don’t clip so loose that you feel like you’re adjusting your hair every 5 minutes either.

This are nice. Sturdy. Love the colors. They even came with locking container to keep them all in. My only peeve is I wish they were all the same bigger size. Especially the darker colors. But they are nice clips that hold with a good grip. I have natural 4c hair and even when blown out or straightened they hold well.

I have super thick hair. And LONG. Anytime someone writes a review and says “these held my THICK hair” I do an eye roll like yeah right — probably don’t even have thick hair. But these do. I will say I like the ones in the box that there are less of. They hold really tight and secure. Although the other style holds, it isn’t the same type of secure firm hold. I don’t like having the sensation my clip is loosening or slipping around. I like the really right feel. Also with the other clip the way it’s shaped for some reason when I do half up half down, it starts to fall out on one side.Honestly the price paid for just the ones in the box that are smaller is worth it for me.NOTE *** I only use these clips to hold my hair half up I have not yet attempted to use this clip to hold all of my hair because my hair is SUPER thick and LONG and I have TONS of it.

I really wanted to love these clips. The style is very pretty, I love the colors, even the texture is awesome but after a handful of uses each they have broken. One right after the other, and maybe I could let that slide if I was super rough with them but I wasn't. I was super delicate, my hair is thin and doesn't cause alot of stress over extension on the clip. Each one broke at the pivot point mainly by the pin and spring coming apart but also by the holes holding the pin breaking in half. Really wish they were better made.

I tried to take a pic of my hair up but couldn’t get a good one by myself. I have very thick hair past my shoulders and I can twist my hair into a ponytail and double it up and these clips hold it so well in place!!! My daughter is mixed with super thick, curly hair and they are the only ones we’ve found that hold securely! And they are so pretty in person, plus the box they come in is absolutely perfect for storage! Buy these clips!!! Straight hair, curly hair, thick hair, thin hair…these will be your favorite!

I often snap the cheaper shiny hair clips, and end up with pieces of plastic in my hair. These are medium size, a little bigger than I imagined but my hair is thick so it's fine for me. They have a nice matte finish, I think these have a more classic look compared to many other hair clips. They seem to have a pretty good grip. I did a few test twirls, jumps, hair shakes, and head bangs, without them loosening. I would buy these again.

I really love these hair clips...they work great for my thick hair and the colors are so pretty. They are sturdy feeling and hold a lot of hair. The only complaint I have is my hair seems to easily get caught in the spring and get tugged on. I just have to adjust how I put it in. Other than that great clips
