Sleep Comfort
I had been thinking about a memory foam mattress for quite some time, and so I finally decided to order one. I've slept on this mattress for three nights now, and I'm very glad that I ordered it. Before I ordered, I was wondering how big the carton is that it comes in. I never found an exact answer. I ordered the King size and it came in a box that measured 20 inches x 20 inches x 45 inches. It comes vacuum packed, rolled up in a cylindrical shape, and wrapped in heavy plastic. When you open it, the mattress starts expanding. I had to take the mattress a short distance to my home, and the box fit in the back seat of my Camry. Some people mention the smell, but I never found that to be a problem at all. It has a new smell when you first open it up, but it has been three days now, and the smell is almost gone. Don't let the comments about the smell stop you from ordering. These mattresses are completely different from an ordinary mattress. You sink down and the mattress conforms to your shape, thus giving you maximum support all over. The mattress is not hard as some people have indicated. If it's hard, then you might have the mattress upside down.Overall conclusion: I would recommend this memory foam mattress to anyone. Without a doubt it feels different than a regular mattress, but give it a chance and you will be happy you got one. It's definitely a 5 star mattress. I'll give another update after I've slept on it for a few more weeks just to confirm what I've determined so far. If my opinion changes, I'll say so.6-month update: I've been using the mattress for 6 months now. My back used to hurt when I got up in the morning. I haven't had a backache since I've been using the memory foam mattress. I'm a confirmed believer now. It's worth every penny and more. I wish I had known about these mattresses years earlier.

Have bed for 4 years; still great
ive had memory foam toppers before that were uncomfortible; after a few months (when i was 170lbs) the 3inch top-of-the-line memory foam and gel topper, would just depress to a flat hard rock on any place around the topper. I tried all parts of the topper i didnt normally sleep on and got the same results. This mattress, on the other hand, is the bees knees. It is the most comfortible bed my wife and I have laid on.[NOTE: when you receive your box open immediately so it will open the foam pours and expand. It needs like 9 hours. I had mine flat during the day and slept on my old mattress once more with the inflating mattress sitting up resting on the wall.]I've had it for about 4 years now and its still super comfortible. I dont wake up my partner when I get out of bed to pee or hopping back in. We can have romantic dates on the bed when we lay out a big sheet and have plates of food like strawberries, bowl of warm chocolate, and other aphrodisiacs. Moving around the bed. Even "romping around" with the food sitting there, we never spill anything. We havent tried a glass of wime though, like that one commercial for NASA-certified-visco-elastic-memory-cells cause we arent retarded.i suggest a very sturdy frame to go with it and you will be very happy. By the time I got a frame for the bed i was 200-270lbs+my wife ! I slept on mattress to frame (the bare one with black-aluminum bars for about 2 months before I started busting bars and needed a new frame. My next frame was Ikea or something (not hate probably wasn't now that I think of it) it had 2x2" bars running down the middle making a cross. Heavy romping on one side busted that and we went back to woodMy next frame was wood with 6 support bars attached to the wood slates running down the frame. Getting into bed with weight on my knees i broke the bars the slates reated on in the corner. Fixed it with L brackets and screws from Amazon. I also bought a box spring from Amazon. You just screw in the bolts on 4 large pieces and slide over the cover. I did cheat and unused my impact wrench and did a final check tighten with the wrench it came with to check torque.I only sleep on this kind 8" Foamex mattress. Mattress protecter cover and fitted sheet only. I never had a more comfortible bed. top 3 inch are ultra plush then a few inches of thicker and i dont even care whats underneath that its like a glove craddling you but you dont get that tar pit feeling either. When i travel and use other beds I get a good idea of what prison is like. When I shawshank out of there and go to bed in my bed, it's like royalty.Update: when sitting on the mattress you sink a little deeper. Still super comfy. No real signs of sagging in places, but it feels more plush than before. We've moved 4 times since we've had the mattress and they are heavy. I dont think a thicker mattress would be possible to lug around or be of more comfort.A little about us. In 6'0" 200-280lbs. I gaunt 80lbs after and accident that shattered bone from my L6-T8 (about 10 bones) I was not paralyzed but have chronic pain. I have been prescribed pain medicine for it. Laying on this bed is the only way i can relieve stress on my back enough to just take 1500mg tylenol instead of painkillers. They added donor bones and proteins to my back bone and screwed in rods with 1/2 x 3/4" bolts. I broke the rods and they had to cut me open and replace them with thicker rods a few months after accident, leaving me with chronic pain. This bed is the only bed I can get a nights rest in. When my wife's pissed at me she sleeps on the couch. It's that bad. I highly suggest you try this bed and follow my instructions

Buy it at least a month before you need it.
I’ve had this mattress for 3 weeks now. When I got it, I took it out of the plastic and waited 48 hours for it to inflate. After a week, I’d say it was at about 10%. After 2 weeks, 30% and now it’s maybe at 60%. This wouldn’t be so bad if it inflated consistently. Instead, I’ve islands of inflation. So I’ve got weird lumpy spots with the highest parts being a full 2 inches thicker than the lowest spots. There are areas around the edges that appear to not have started inflating at all yet. I’m sure that once it finally stops inflating, I’ll have a great nights sleep. But right now, I’m definitely not. If I had any idea I’d be waiting for more than a month, I would have kept my old mattress and waited for the new one. But I didn’t. And I’m sure most people don’t have the space to store a new mattress for months while it inflated.EDITED: It's now been 2 months and my mattress is still not done "inflating". In a fit of desperation yesterday, I decided to test putting a heating pad on it. And I'm happy to report that it's working. But it'll take FOREVER this way. Not to mention is August, so the last thing I want is to be making my house hotter. I'd say my mattress is now at about 75%. I'm dropping my review from 3 stars to 2 because this is bananas. No one should have to wait months for their new mattress to be ready to sleep on.
