No rough edges on what I think is cast iron. Good color and the tails (hooks) line up and can be used to level during installation.

This is precious! We needed an “attractive” (but rustic and cute) hook to put in the dining room since that is where we leash our dogs and take them out. I looked at hundreds of hooks, couldn’t find anything. When I saw this, I knew it was perfect! Thank you!

Super cute for keys and pet leashes near the door or in the garage. I noted there were not any screws included so got two at the local home store and sprayed the ends with some matte brown spray paint I already had on hand.I am not a cat lover, but I like that based on your perspective you can imagine them all dogs or a mix of cats and dogs. The hooks are the tails and they are purposely irregular for a cute visual. We do not have any issues with keys or leashes coming off the hooks.The finish is solid matte with little shine. It has a quality metal finish without imperfections in color, edges, or surface texture and does not look like it will chip or scratch easily. The material is thick, does not look cheap, or too thin. We placed it in the garage next to the door that leads into the house.

Arrived and met my expectations. Great cute holder. Would buy again.
