9 Life Lessons: Secrets of the Mystery Schools Unveiled

This book changed my life!

I have read this book 3 times in 6 months AND listened to the audio version (downloaded it from iTunes). AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! Each time I read it, I find another layer. This book (and Kala) has changed my life for the better. My mom noticed the difference in me, so I gave her the book. She is addicted to it too and has bought 10 copies for the rest of our family and some of her friends. It's a book that offers you a new way of being. Kala is a brilliant wisdom teacher. Highly, highly recommend!

The nine lessons that Kala presents in her book are both profound and simplistic. While these lessons can take a lifetime (or many) to master, Kala presents them in such a way as to invite the reader to look deeper into themselves and the mysteries of the Universe rather than intimidating or overwhelming them. Like the peeling of the onion that she describes, this book has many layers and levels- re-reading a lesson is like finding a brand new book with new life altering information. A must have for anyone trying to find their way.

This is one of the best books I've read for introducing people to the great spiritual teachings of the mystery schools. The book is short, but covers a lot. The author's use of quotes from Carl Jung, Tielhard de Chardan and others helps give the book meaning. This book provides much to think about and will be an eye opener to those seekers who are finding themselfs dissatisfied with traditional religion and are looking for something more.

If you are at all a student of the metaphysical, this won't tell you anything you don't already know, but it will remind you of the things that you already do (or should) know. A well written refresher.

This book offers a good overview of the concepts presented in the Mystery Schools. I would recommend it highly as a resource for as someone new to esoteric studies.

I like the way Kala Ambrose shares her knowledge, 'consider her a sensitive and compassionate writer. But this book is, for me anyhow, very slow going. Her book on auras is more interesting and useful to me, and her book on New Orleans spooks and such is a fun read.

very informative and powerful teachings. I am extremely impressed and have a new addiction for more. You just have to read it.

Whether we make It up, as we go along, or whether the script has already been written, all of Us need a helping hand, at times. Figuring out our individual "plots" is a life-long project but it's good to know that, as some have made it through the labyrinth, so can we!

A must reading for anyone who wants to advance in life and in spirituality.This kind of spirituality has no link with any organized religion but this is theonly true and sincere way in seeking the ultimate truth because this journeywill be special to you and only toyou... As Rumi says there are spiritual truth seeking ways as much as the number of your cells in your body...

The information would be easier to grasp if a better job of editing had been done. Reading and rereading ad infinitum is tiring and too frustrating to continue.
