recommend a professional to install it
I had a professional to install it as I needed to make sure it was installed properly to hold at least 250 pounds. It is very sturdy and fits nicely in my shower stall which is not large. Easy to fold up and down. It has a second rack beneath the seat which distributes the weight.

Best shower seat there is in my opinion.
Excellent materials and construction. Makes it durable and strong. I like that it folds up to be out of the way and water won't sit on it.

came damaged
our contractor had to stop on our bathroom remodel cause the seat hadn't came in, when it did it was such a big let down it was chipped. I had them to go ahead and put it up cause we need our shower completed.
