Don't spend the extra on the flasks with stoppers
Good flasks, but the stopper sizing is slapdash. The 1L was a little small and different provide much room to remove but that's not a huge deal. The readil problem is that the two smallest rubber stoppers simply fall into their flasks and ate totally unusable for anything.Glassware is ok but I bought the one with stoppers so I could use them. I cannot.Good value, good product otherwise.

Buyer Beware! 4 out of 5 flasks contained imperfections or chips inside the flasks.
I use flasks while making herbal tinctures. These flasks would not hold up to even a low hotplate. Very disappointed after seeing all the good reviews. Now I will have to drive 40 miles to UPS because they don't pick up from my location. Thanks for wasting a bunch of my time and money, Karter Scientific.

Art Project Materials
While I do think these were a great value, the rim on the one I chose to work with (150mL, wasn't sure what size I would need) just basically exploded. And that is a figure of speech I'm using, I'm not doing science with these, it just popped off all around the rim while taking it out of the box while inspecting them. For my purpose, an art project, it's fine, and luckily the rim doesn't even matter for the project. However, if kids were involved or if my aesthetics had dictated the rim needed to be shown I might be saltier about the sharp edges left. My project involves wrapping the top of the glass with wire and it broke BEFORE the glass came into contact with any metal, which I thought was ironic. Now if the rest of the flask's rims also shatter for no reason, I might come back and change my rating but otherwise I'm willing to just accept that that one had a flaw in it. (Maybe sudden drastic temp change bringing it from outside to inside caused the fracture? Idk.) (Science is interesting, lol.)

Stoppers do not fit at all.
I ordered a set of these with rubber stoppers. The stoppers are all the wrong sizes. There's also only one stopper to share between them that fits on the 1000ml and 500ml flask. There is one stopper too small for the smallest flask -- it falls straight through. The next largest stopper barely holds if you just set it there, but is _still_ too small for actual use. If you pressed it down hard enough to make an airtight seal you will not be getting it out of the bottle as it'd slip below the lip of the flask. The next larger stopper is too big to fit in at all, so you can't use the 50ml flask with any stopper offered.Effectively the "with rubber stoppers" option is giving you usable stoppers for the 1000ml, 250ml and 150ml flask. The 500ml and 50ml flasks cannot be stoppered with the materials supplied. As I've seen at least one other review with the same problem, this seems systematic, rather than a one-off problem.

It's a $24 flask set, and for $24 it's fantastic.
After reading some of these reviews, I'd like to make these points:1. Don't measure with them. They're guesstimates at best, and you should be using graduated cylinders, pipettes and such to measure. Duh. They're pretty much kinda sorta guidelines, that's it.2. The glass isn't very resilient. Again: $24. I've used each of mine with a magnetic stirrer, and they've yet to crack. Treat 'em gently and you'll be fine.3. For, ONCE MORE, $24, it's a wonderful set for beginners and a decent back-up set to keep on hand.Personally, I love them. I make loads of vape juice and they've been working just fine. Inexpensive, reasonably well-made, and the sizes all have their niches. On a budget? Get 'em. Doing "real science" in college? Spend more for better equipment, noob.

I ordered this 5 set of Erlenmeyer flasks as part ...
I ordered this 5 set of Erlenmeyer flasks as part of a larger order including beakers and graduated cylinders. Everything was packed into a box into 3 separate smaller boxes and in the 3 smaller boxes each set was then packed again into individual boxes. The largest shipping box had some shipping air cushions. Everything seemed OK I have a slight issue where one of the 500 ml Erlenmeyer flasks has a small 3 cm hairline crack in the mouth of the flask which isn't going up or down but is horizontal to the mouth of the flask other than that the rest of the glass ware set has no defects or imperfections. It arrived really fast one or two days maximum. I think an improvement to this shipping would be to wrap each piece of glassware in bubble wrap and use boxes that are 1 inch larger and to ship including the air cushion. I don't really have any complaints.

REEKED of cigarette smoke and absolutely awful quality
They used cheap generic tape instead of Amazon security tape, which tore in transit. When we opened the box, it stank of cigarettes. The Karter Erlenmeyer flasks (notice I didn't say some generic term like, 'the product') are made absolutely terribly. Seriously, they're as bad as all the legitimate reviews said. They're warped all over with the spouts oval and thicker on one side or the other. The bottom of a few are pushed in (can't imagine a stir bar will work) and the labels are various levels of printing clarity (like some look smeared). It doesn't need to be said at this point, but don't use the printed volume markings even as a suggestion until you verify.Honestly, if they cheaped out on the part we can actually see, I find it very hard to believe they used actual borosilicate. If they are, there is no way they actually handled the material correctly during manufacturing. These things are worse than the Halloween decoration lab-ware you get at Joann's in October.let's be honest, that's probably exactly what this is.

Missing and Used components
I payed extra to have the rubber stoppers, and I didn’t get them all. Also, some of the beakers were new, but some were very used. I wouldn’t complain if it were to say that they were used in the description, but I do not have respect for false advertising.Edit 1: they responded to my Support request, so I’m raising my rating.

Every chemistry kit should start with these.
Good quality glass. Affordable and probably the most useful set of chemistry glass. Don't forget to purchase size 1-7 rubber stoppers to keep the contents sealed.

good quality stuff (for what my word is worth
Couldn’t beat the price, good quality stuff (for what my word is worth; keep in mind I’m an amateur chemist with little experience with glassware)

Inadequate
No Good, thanx for nothing; totally inadequate for lab use. Two broke on the first day; now only 2 left & sizes I'm not too likely to use much.

Just what I ordered
Good glass quality, good price, having a bit of trouble finding the right size of rubber stoppers. I'd order again.
