Most importantly: it does the job. I've stopped administering inadvertent defibrillation to myself and my fiancée a dozen times a day, so the static must be trickling its way to the ground all right. Definitely more functional than beautiful (the product, not my fiancée), but that's to be expected.My only real gripes are that A) it's not an amazing fit around the heel, though it does stay on all right, and B) the conductive ribbon bit slipped out my sock and was promptly trodden on, and tore out of its fastening which can't have been very strong. Doesn't matter much since I've just tied it back on and, like I said, we don't buy these things cause they add a fashionable flair.Overall a reasonably priced solution to the problem of stray electrons.

The jury is still out on this one at this stage for me . The strap at the heel end and at the section under the foot , cannot be adjusted or tightened. The velcro at the front tightens the fit only . The whole lot came loose a few times , other times it was fine . I am a bit worried it wont last too long as it is '' walked on '' and not sure if the material is strong enough for long tern ( or even semi long term ) use . .If I get a year out of it I will be happy. Also not sure why there is a 1 Meg Ohm resistance in the cable . This to me is not necessary and reduces the grounding effect as walking barefoot to ground does not incorporate a 1 Meg Ohm resistance
