This classic looking phone actually works well!
Okay, so it is a rotary looking old style phone that actually uses modern touch tone technology to make call and even has a speed last number redial function. It will work on any system that allows a modern phone to work including VOIP phone service!I use it with a magicjack and it works great and makes a cool conversation piece. The way it works is NOT with pulse dial service that the original old rotarty phones used instead you dial the rotary dial with your finger in the correctly numbered hole and as you turn the dial all the way to the end, there is a small metal catch that your finger must depress which creates the correct tone for dialing, it even has a "#" and a "*" that rotary phones never had. So they really can be used for making any type of call in a modern world yet have the authentic feel of the rotary phones from yesteryear's gone by.It also feels substantial like an older phone would have making the hand-piece comfortable to hold and use.I highly recommend this for the affordable price, you won't regret it.The only problem you might experience is if you intend to use this as an extension phone at the same time as others are talking on another extension at the same time, then the volume becomes pretty low, I suspect it is because modern voip systems don't supply enough current to power more than one phone at a time unless the phones are connected to power and supply their own current for functioning. You can have it hooked up as a second or third phone with no problem as long as you don't talk on it at the same time as others are on another extension phone on that line (if your phone line doesn't supply enough current as my magicjack and most VOIP systems don't).

Stopped working- don't bother
I liked the product, at first. It looked nice and could also be used as a speaker phone. A rotary with redial was a nice touch. However, just this week-after a month and a half of use, it started making noise. The phone hasn't been dropped. No one was touching it. It still had a dial tone when I picked up the receiver. But the noise was too loud and too annoying, so I had to unplug the phone. Very sad because I liked the phone.

Antique Looking Classy Modern Rotary Phone
I needed to replace our old trimline landline phone because it was just a temporary phone until we could get a nicer one. With that said, I started my hunt for a classic rotary phone and this one was the first I came across! So glad I did. It had a video to it so I clicked on it right away and was pleasantly pleased at what I saw. What a nice phone. The ringer is perfect (sounds like an old antique phone) and the front dial is beautiful and very well made. I just got the phone and have started using it for a couple of days. So far it works perfectly. What I like most about it is it's not a cheap light feeling phone. It's heavy and durable. This attractive phone looks and feels like it will withstand the test of time. I highly recommend this phone and the Seller! Fast shipping, packaged to perfection and exactly as described. Many Thanks to the Seller for their outstanding Customer Service. I'm very pleased to say the least.Peace and Love to all <3 Stay Safe out there.OPERATION OF PHONE: From User Manual with the Phone- Receiving a Call (Pick up handset on the phone when the phone rings and place handset back on the phone when finished)- Handfree Function (the center button is a handfree key. When receiving a call or dialing a call you can press it to release handfree function)- Dialing a Call (use the rotary dial on the front of the phone to call out numbers - very easy/user friendly)- Redial Function (after dialing the number- Extensions/Switches (these are not available)

Nice vintage look and feel
I like this phone a lot. Our setup is with a splitter going to this phone and a cordless base station. I have the cordless on mute and let this phone ring. This allows me to have a satellite cordless in another part of the house. Also still allows me to take calls and wander around if I need to. Most of the time I sit right next to the phone cause its just a fun to use.I love some things about this phone:1) The Ring is fantastic and relaxing. I love hearing it ring2) the feel of the handset is authentic even though it's plastic3) the overall look is great. It looks nice on our end table and everyone loves it4) works flawlessly with voip.ms service and obihai 100 box for very cheap home phoneWhat I'd want to improve:1) Would like to be able to control the volume a bit2) Speakerphone speaker and mic are on bottom of phone making it hard for anyone to hear us and others are slightly muffled3) Would have liked jack option on the other side of the phone so I could put the handset plugged in in either spot.4) Phone is decently heavy, but does slide around when dialing, maybe some "grippier" feet would help. It's a fun phone with a nice vintage look and feel.

Love this beautiful phone
Our little girl has wanted a play phone for awhile. I have fond memories of having a rotary phone my mom bought me at a thrift store when I was a child. Nowadays a real vintage one cost a lot of money. When she saw this she immediately wanted it. I’m glad we bought this one. It is heavy and has a nice ring to it when you hang it up. The rotary dial makes a pleasing sound and smoothly dials. The pink is not as bright as the picture shows. It’s a softer pink that I liked better. Our my daughter said even though it wasn’t the pink she wanted she’s very happy with it. If we had landlines I would buy another and hook it up!
