Great matte finish, light and scratch proof titanium band !
Edit of June 2019: beware if some sellers propose you this band for less than 50 dollars (20 dollars for example): it is not titanium. The band comes with no box and tools to adjust. It has been report twice to Amazon...It is the titanium band with quick release and little "pumps" (spring bars which are the same as Casio's easy fit bracelet found on the full metal Squares) for easy fitting.BTW It has taken 48 hours to fly from Florida to Paris by DHL on Amazon.Very fast! With the shipping it cost me 64 euros.I used to have the same titanium band before (not with the easy fit but with Garmin quick release system and butterfly clasp ) for my previous Fenix 5X Plus and that was a great 26mm band I was noever able to scratch. So it took me time to find it the same in 22mm. Nothing in Europe... But I have found this one.It is very light and very confortable. (Stainless steel band can jam the compass...)And it get dry very fast! Which is a must for my uses.It also gives a certain classy look to the Military Instinct! The bracelet is matte and black which is very stealthy. Let see how it resist now but my previous experience with a 26mm tells it will be OK.It is all titanium (Another reviewer on this Amazon thread has tested it and he is positive.) but the butterfly clasp in stainless steel and little spring bars too.The Instinct equipped is now 88 grams. (from 52 with its original rubber band)Highly recommended. Look at all my pictures in watchuseek forums. One 13th of June 2019: no scratch on the band, it looks almost like new.

Solid band at a great value
I bought this for my Garmin instinct Solar tactical watch. My skin doesn't like silicone bands so i bought it as a replacement. My first impressions are pretty good. The band seems to compliment the watch well. It's a lightweight band that was easy to adjust with the included hardware. It does appear to be titanium based on the weight and the fact that it doesn't seem to be throwing off my watch compass.I knocked off a star because I'm not quite sure about the durability of the paint. It held up well to me adjusting the band with the pin tool. No scratches there, but you can see bare metal between the links when you take them apart. It's invisible when the band is together, so it's not a big aesthetic issue, but it does suggest that the metal is indeed painted and not coated. We'll see how well it holds up.I do plan on swapping out the band for a nylon one for serious outdoor work, like extended backpacking trips or search and rescue. I only intend on using this band for daily wear at the office, or for short hikes and steady runs or rucks. I don't want to trust risking my $450 watch on a $50 amazon band while out in the backcountry.I also wouldn't want to wear the metal band for HIIT, sprints or other intense workouts, but that's okay. The heart rate monitors on all smartwatches are pretty much crap once you get moving fast. So for intense workouts I'll be going to a chest strap anyway. For $250 cheaper than the Garmin brand titanium band, I'm not complaining. I could replace this every year for the next 4-5 years I will own the watch and still come out ahead.

5 brands compared along with Garmin original
I’ve tried multiple brands that have 4 star or higher reviews for the multiple Garmin Fenix and Forerunner in my family. All of them were 22mm quickfit. Garmin original bands are high quality. However, if you are looking for a change, here are some options:ANCOOL and NOTOCITY - Silicon models only:They are probably the best silicon bands out there. Between these two, you’ll have ample color and style options. They are priced well and they are VERY durable. In the photo, left slate is Ancool and white one next to it is Notocity. I have a few of these for the Garmin’s in my family. I feel they are built in the same factory. The quickfit is as strong as Garmin original band.Recommendation: BuyNote,1. Ancool makes Nylon bands too, they are durable but look cheap. I won’t recommend those if you have the higher end Garmin.2. Notocity makes a Silicon with Ocean bubble style lock (Apple Watch mimic). The pin fell off. Notocity refunded me. Go for classic clip.LDFAS Titanium:I wanted to try a metal look. Let me start by sharing there are no great options, just good and this is one that is rightly balanced between price and performance. LDFAS quality is mediocre, 3 star, when looked closely, you can tell it’s cheap titanium and won’t last long. The quickfit isn’t smooth but will hold. For a sports watch, metal bands are not ideal but maybe you need one to wear with your dress shirt, etc. Based on other reviews, it seems to scratch easily and that seems true as there was one scratch out of the box but that’s what you’ll get at this price point. You aren’t getting Titanium grade 5 like Apple Watch Ultra.Recommendation: Maybe, only if you must wear metal band and know that the polish will fadeEKINGEEK Nylon:Garmin’s original nylon bands are great but ridiculously expensive ($250-$300 range). This is a reasonable alternative. This is the 2nd band from the right in the photo. It is tough, well made, clean stitch, the metal at the ends looks solid. The quickfit mechanism is not great, not as strong grip as Garmin original or Ancool/Notocity. I hope it doesn’t fall off during high intensity activity. The tail end has some weird glue looks, as if they glued two of nylon to make one strong one. Likely the best sub $30 nylon band with classic clip (others are sporty and not as polished looking)Recommendation: Buy if you want nylon with classic look and have a sub $30 budget. If you are OK with other enclosure styles then go for Notocity.BANDKIDS:They seem like the new kid on the block (no pun intended). This is HEAVY DUTY band and very uniquely styled. I would not recommend for smaller wrists or smaller Garmin watches. However, if you are looking for a silicon band that stands out, tough built, then this may be the one for you. This is the right most band in the photo is BandKids. The orange accent is a nice touch. It is wider than all other options. The quick fit is strong, not as good as Garmin original or Ancool/Notocity but no issues with this one.Recommendation: Buy if you want a heavy silicon band with an accentHope this review helps you to pick the right one for you.In the photo, left to right, Ancool Slate Silicon, Notocity White Silicon, Garmin Orange Silicon, LDFAS Titanium, EKINGEEK Black Nylon, BandKids Black Silicon.

Great Quality
I love this watch band. I have not had the issues that other reviews said this had. Mine has not all of a sudden popped off the watch while I’m wearing it. And the paint has not worn off. I take care of it and am careful not to do yard work or car maintenance while wearing it. When I’m at my desk for work I do have a large desk top pad that I rest it on. I’ve noticed with other watches that if you constantly rest your hand on the bare desktop, it will wear the finish down. Just take care of it and there’ll be no issues. I would recommend this watch band. It looks and fits great!
