The documentation is bad, and the fancy ultegra chain ring bolts I bought did not work (this needs regular old double chain ring bolts as the larger diameter nut goes inside the crank with threads toward pedal, and the thinner inner nut pieces goes outside the crank toward the chain ring, and the fancy ultegra bolts are setup backward (so it wouldn't go through the 4 arm spider holes in the Doval).Once rectified, the installation was easy (BTW I got the cheap plastic spacer instead of the aluminum spacer that looks much nicer).Unable to comment on longevity, as I installed them last night and only did a quick 5 mile ride to then re-torque nuts etc.

For installation I took it to a bike shop in 10 minutes it was done, had to buy the bolts, not included, improves your bike pimped index to a high end, I've been riding it for a month and is great, improvement is for real, first week of riding with it my legs where sored because you use different muscle groups, after week one I don't want to go back to regular chainring, it just feels lighter and smooth, I bought the 50t-36t for ultegra compact crank set, less chain drops, you keep high cadence between 80-90 with less effort than a regular chainring, im pedaling with the 50t doval equals to a 46t regular chainring wich translate in less effort and more power output, as for me as a starting cyclists is a big help, going to buy a second one for my other bike because is a different BCD number.

Very good product for the price, it feels good the difference in the diameters. But watch out to not tight very much the screws, the screws can damage the plate if over tighten.
