Brutal Bloc Postcards: Soviet era postcards from the Eastern Bloc

I've always had a weird fascination with the brutal, monolithic yet functional Soviet style architecture from about 1950 - 1990. Very forward looking for it's time, and functional. It's almost akin to the German World War II era modern architecture in Berlin that survived the war. Interesting to see how post cards make everything look better than it probably was.

Having a passing interest in architecture in general and Eastern Europe in particular this book was in my wish list for a while.Nothing complicated just a book of postcards - why some of them were postcards I have no idea but as a whole, an interesting flick through and a couple of places added to the ‘go to’ list when and if we are allowed.
