There is an issue with this product, and maybe since I've purchased mine a couple years ago they've figured it out -- but, the battery itself is great. Good little size for carrying around and provides a full phone charge as long as it's fully charged. The problem: the cords. Those cords kept "breaking". Not physically breaking, but I mean the battery stopped charging my phone. When that happened, I wrote to them and they sent me a replacement and I even said at that time (just using my ability to think about what could all be going wrong,) that it was possibly the cords, not the battery charger itself. Well, the person on email didn't give my suggestion a second thought and just sent me another battery charger. On my own I made an additional purchase of just these little cords that connect the battery to the phone, and I've been using these same battery chargers for years now! Even the one that stopped working e.g. it WAS the cord. The extra connectors for different phones can get annoying so the new cords I bought were just for my phone alone, obviously. Much nicer than to have to deal with little, tiny, connector pieces. So, they did try to help. And the battery itself is great and has lasted long. But, I really wish they could have figured out their own product issue. Still, since I still use them now years later, I'll go ahead with 4 stars.

The lipstick portable charger power bank comes with a charging cord, and some attachment connectors. I did as it said on receiving it. I charged it up. I did not recall that the instructions said when it was charged on initial charge, but I assumed it was green. It started off as red then later turned green. Instructions said to not overcharge, so I took it off when it turned green. On the first time I tried to charge my kindle paperwhite, no light came on and it wasn't charging. I tried 3 other connectors and none did anything. Then, I went back to the original connector. Nothing. I unplugged it and plugged it in about 3 more times and finally the purple light came on. It was charging. After charging the paperwhite, the power bank needed recharging. I started recharging it and the red light came on. I figured this meant it needed charging...else the green light would come on. All day long the light stayed red and did not charge. Left it on for about 9 hours and the light did not change from red to anything. Finally, I decided to unplug it and plugged it back in. It immediately changed to green. So, this unit is too touchy to be of much use. I give it 2 stars because it actually charged something after playing with it for a bit. The lights are your only guide with this tool. If they don't work right, you can't count on it.

I'm sorry for my english its not my main language.. I am super picky with these things i always read all the reviews before buying something on amazon and also i'm a student so a back up battery is a must have for me.. with all that said.. I was very disappointed when my Lightning adapter explode in my bag while I was at college (yes that happen).. it started smelling like something was burning of course i would never have imagined that it was my bag.. thank god my phone wasn't connected to the battery when it happen there was just the cable that come with the device and the lightning adapter that was the one that explode, the battery and the cable(that have the micro usb on one end) is perfect and if i use the battery with the cable that comes with the iphone it works perfectly.. now what i think it happened: when i saw that my bag was the one with the smell I grab the battery and notice that the blue light was on.. even when the device wasn't connected.. so im not and electrical engineer but i think the battery didn't stop sending power (because of the blue light) and the adapter just explode.. of course im attaching some pictures so you can understandI love reading reviews but i never write them mostly because i understand reading english but i don't fully know how to write everything properly, i did it because i find this a very dangerous and serious situation, thank god the only one that suffer the burn was my bag but in other case the situation may be different and much worse than this, again sorry for my english..pd i haven't use the other adapters so i don't know if this happens with all of them if you leave the cable with the adapter on connected to the device without a cellphone charging

I was asked by the developer of this charger only a couple of days after receiving how I liked it. I didn't respond because I hadn't had a reason to use it yet. I have now used it, but wish it had directions with it. It would have been better to know how to recharge it and use it included. Works well, haven't used it but once, so will be interested as I travel how well it holds and works in emergency situations. I'M PLEASED TO AMEND THIS REVIEW BY STATING THAT I WAS CONTACTED BY THE CEO AND PRESIDENT OF THE CYNERGY PRODUCTS GROUP WHO WAS CONCERNED ABOUT MY CONCERN. I BELIEVE I PLACED THIS FIRST REVIEW A MERE 3 DAYS AGO... I NOW HAVE A PRODUCT MANUAL. WITH ONLY ONE STAR DOWN, THEY SOUGHT OUT THE CONCERN AND IMMEDIATELY RECTIFIED IT. I HAVE NO HESITATION IN ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN WHO TRULY PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANK YOU FOR A GOOD PRODUCT, AND THE MANUAL SHOWS THAT ALTHOUGH THE MANNER I WAS USING IT WAS WORKING, OTHER METHODS ARE MORE EFFICIENT. AN "A #1" COMPANY AND PRODUCT.

It got the job done, i used this yesterday for the first time and it worked, my phone was on 1% and it charge it completely, i was not expecting it to charge several or 2 devices,it took about an hour to charge, i didnt care just as long as it brought my phone back to life, i was at a concert i couldnt afford for my phone to be completed dead.I like this product with all the different ports to charge, cameras, phones, ipads and more.I purchase a 'PowerRocks" portable charger a few months ago and it stopped working after 3months, hopefully, the Cynphon last a bit longer.I will definately purchase one for my husband, and the price is right.
