This is a very nice hat. I am very picky about what I wear on my head as most hats I try are just not comfortable. This one however, is very comfortable. It has an adjustable strap that is not mentioned in the description that allows me to adjust the size when I put a bandana on as well. I fully expect a long relationship with this hat in all environments.

Got this hat to use out on my boat. Have run it over 30 mph into a 20+mph headwind and the hat stays snug on your head. The stiff brim looks good and keep the hat from flopping in your face. Measured my head and ordered the appropriate size and it fit perfectly...not too tight or loose. The hat has two large vents so your head can breathe and a well thought our chin strap that can be worn under your chin or snapped behind the hat when not needed. Hat isn't waterproof, but I wasn't expecting that. It dries quickly when wet and hasn't faded at all. Love it so much I purchased another Shelta hat style in Khaki for more formal times.

great hat! I was blasted with ads for this hat, and I thought it was too much money. I finally gave in knowing I could return it. I used it fishing in South Louisiana Gulf of Mexico last weekend and it was WELL WORTH THE MONEY! I am 7 1/4" size and the large fit well - not too tight, not too loose. I enjoy how the cord can be clipped up out of the way. I put zero sunscreen on my face and ears and I came home without even a hint of sunburn. Highly Recommend this hat if you are outdoors.

I saw these advertised on Facebook, and decided to take the plunge. I'm glad I did. This is far and away the best sun hat I've had. It is comfortable, fits well, is ventilated and the stiff brim in front holds up in weather. I've used mine many many times over the last year hiking and walking.

Great hat! Fit as expected and is very comfortable. Being bald I am always trying to find a good hat and this one is awesome. The difference with this hat and most of the other boonie styles is with the Shelta the head lining keeps your head from pressing against the fabric that is exposed to direct sunlight which gets way hot. We fished all day under a scorching Texas sun and I was comfortable the whole time. The stiff brim is also a plus along with the chin strap configurations.

This is the perfect sun protection hat for kayaking or trekking. It solves the number one issue I've had with so-called sun protection hats; the brim stays down, thus protecting my face from the sun, while I either paddle or hike into head winds, which is - just awesome!

This is a fantastic hat! Typically, when a product has many features they tout, only a few are useful and many are meaningless. Not so with this hat - all the features they highlight are beneficial! The "no flop" brim really works! I've driven my Seadoo up to close to 40 mph before the hat blew off my head (saved by the cord!). My favorite feature is the way in which the top of the hat fits my head like a baseball cap, rather than the typical "boxy" floppy hats. I plan to wear this hat while dove hunting in September!

Worked Great! Took it on a camping trip to Havasupai. I usually don't wear any protection and get sun burned on my scalp and face. With this hat my head was always cool even being in the sun for 6 hours. I highly recommend it
