The upgrade from 9003 is wonderful!
My vehicle was not able to use the HID’s due to heat issues.I wanted to get LED’s for sometime, I waited for the wrinkles and price point to level out.As I knew the benefits of converting to LED’s were multi faceted. i.e. Lower amperage draw, less heat, much better spectrum of light.These were plug and play, if you can change your own headlight bulbs, you can install these with the same ease.I am a very happy customer, they are great! The beam pattern is identical to the stock 9003 with a night and day difference for visibility. I have around 5k on them to date. No problems with the difference in brightness and oncoming traffic, which was a concern of mine when I installed them because of the change of spectrum and increase in lumens.Hope that you and yours have a wonderful day..

Flicker from ballast
Lights flicker. One slower than other. Changed ballast to those from lightening dark brand and it went away.Awaiting contact from seller on replacement.The bulb fills out my halogen style headlights fully. More than other LED lights I have used. Can only get so much light with the cap in headlight housing and this particular LED with it's rounded out bulb does it great.Fan is much quieter than other products. That was a great bonus!Great light product with ballast from another brand :-( Will update review after replacement/warrantyUpdate from seller. Very quick response. Sending a part to fix flicker.Update part arrived quickly. Great seller. Very happy

They flicker
Bright lights, but they flicker, even with the anti flicker resistors... also didn’t fit the headlight housings of a 2013 Jetta gli, had to be modified to fit....would not buy again, especially at $90

Bright, but reliability an issue.
Put the bulbs in, and they were a vast improvement over 6 month old halogen bulbs. The white light shows up and illuminates anything reflective so much better (traffic signs, road reflectors, road paint). The bulbs are bright. The downside is that the cooling fans on mine feel very cheap and lightweight. I have installed LED bulbs on other vehicles and those brands, while over twice as expensive, felt much more durable. After installing the Akarui bulbs, the cooling fan speeds and vibration got worse, and the fan was so loud you could hear it while sitting at a stop light. You also could hear it changing speed (which I don't think is intended, because it is completely random when it changes pitch). The changing speeds makes the noise even more annoying.Long story short, you get what you pay for. There are some bulbs I have found that are $160-190 that are better, and in my opinion are worth it because I don't know how long the Akarui's are going to last when you can feel the vibration in the headlamp assembly.

2008 Prius (Touring Package) Xenon Headlights electrical connection is NOT compatible with H4 (9003)
I am writing a 5 star review, because I received good customer service from Akarui. But unfortunately they were unable to resolve my compatibility issue and I had to return their product. Because the Akarui H4 (9003) electrical connections are not compatible with my 2008 Toyota Prius (Touring Package). Customers who are considering purchasing these lights, need to verify the trim level of their Prius before purchasing.The Akarui LED headlights - size H4 (9003) are not compatible with my 2008 Prius. Let me share my research into this matter with you. So you can update your compatibility information. There are 3 levels of trim packages for the 2008 Prius. The lower trim level’s came with regular headlights that have a 3 prong adapter compatible with your H4 (9003) light set. These lower levels of Prius also have a different waterproof cup that covers the back of the headlight assembly.My 2008 Prius is the touring package (Trim level 3), came from the factory with a built in GPS display and also upgraded Xenon Headlights that use a special power supply. A HID Ballast with Ignitor - Xenon Headlight Control Unit. This Control Unit/power supply converts the 12V power to 25000V for the upgraded Xenon Headlights. It also uses a different electric connection plug. Because of the higher voltage requirements.Please have your customers verify which lighting system is in their Prius before purchasing your LED product. If they have a 3 prong connection then yes, your H4 (9003) LED set is compatible. But if they have Xenon Headlights that use a HID Ballast with Ignitor - Xenon Headlight Control Unit. Your LED bulbs are NOT compatible. Because basically, they can’t plug your LED bulbs into the car.

At the beginning the bulbs had flicker ... my first review was 1 star ... then the seller contact me and resolve the problem, the bulbs works amazing and looks very fine ( my car Charger SRT8 07 need a conversion kit to avoid flicker ). After sale service works 100%.

A Day and Night Difference!!!!
What an incredible difference these headlights have made, making it much easier to drive safely at night!!! They shipped immediately, the installation could not have been any easier, and the headlights made a remarkable improvement to night driving!!! I highly recommend these bulbs to anyone looking to drive safely on dark twisting roads in the mountains or out in the country!!

Disappointed
Installation didn't go well, needed some improvising . Once that was finally accomplished, the result was very disappointing. My truck uses a "reflector system". The beam ends up as a big circle. So I have two bright circles with huge dark centers. This leaves me with terrible light coverage. The halogen may not have been as bright but certainly provided better coverage.Update: The company really tried to help, sent free resisters. Still have terrible lighting and radio interference.
