Jon Richardson is back, embarking on his nationwide tour ‘Old Man’ to complain about the state of the world and offer no solutions! Since his last show Jon has become a husband and father, seen the UK vote to leave the EU and watched the rise of Donald Trump, all of which leaves him asking one question; Why does it seem that no one else alive can correctly load a dishwasher? Filmed on the final night of Jon’s colossal 158 date sell out UK and Ireland tour at the historic Grand Theatre in Blackpool.

Last of the Summer Whine
Even though Jon Richardson is a gold standard whinger and moaner, he is not an out and out negative person.Self deprecating without being overly so, the cardi lover (that's the buttoned up knitted top, not the B rapper) owns his own nerdsphere reality. His OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) is part of his charm offensive - charming if you don't live with him, offensive (read irritatingly aggravating) if you do live with him; as his saintly wife, stand-up comic Lucy Beaumont, does.Jon is whittily funny, can find the humour in his frustrations in life, and, all in all, is a good egg (if half cracked with it).

It's Jon Richardson. If you like him, you'll like this.
Title says it all really. I [50] laughed a lot and so did my son [18] so there is something for everyone between those ages and perhaps above. His act is cleaner than Jimmy Carr, dirtier than Mr Tumble. His house is probably as clean as my nan's.

insightful observation and genuinely funny
Genuinely funny with some laugh out loud moments.I had only seen Jon Richardson in 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown before so I wasn't familiar with his ability as a stand up act. He is good. His comedy is good observational stuff. Some stuff in there where you can look across the room at family and say "you do that!". Some genuine insights into how the geeky OCD side of us all, works.Ahh one helpful vote. I like to think Jon Richardson read this review and appreciated it!

Not magic but does the trick.
I rented this expecting that the cardigan clad Jon would act as a bizarre aphrodisiac to my neat freak and slightly grumpy partner. Unfortunately it is not a stand up with magical qualities, however I did have a good laugh after she fell asleep five minutes into it. (And by it, I mean the stand up.)

Disappointed
I like watching Jon Richardson and hearing his funny stories about his OCD and his wife but this Dvd just wasnt very funny. Everyone has a favourite stand up and Jon isnt for me. Sorry!

Jon Richardson is a funny, funny man
Been a fan of his for 2 or 3 years. One of the best English comics I've seen. Friendly, self deprecating humor, and keeps you laughing the whole way. Very likable as well. Highly recommended.
