For a handicapped person or someone with physical disabilities, these are essential! They are so helpful whether taking a shower or just using the bathroom if they are placed strategically. My husband has problems getting around, especially in our bathroom with limited space. Having these grab bars has been a life changer. Get someone or be careful when placing so that they are actually screwed into supporting paces in the wall.

Love these grab bars for the bathroom. I put them on the wall right outside of the shower and tub and they are the perfect size. I love the textured grip right in the middle that keeps your hand from slipping when it is wet. I feel much safer getting in and out of the shower with these to hang onto if needed.

Installed several of these in new showers, tubs and shower/tub surrounds, and they work well. The finish quality is good and mounting is easy (but we tried to build the walls with these in mind, so we put in extra stud support where these would be mounted). These are relatively short bars but are really all that is needed in the shower/tubs we have. Longer bars can get in the way and we find that it can be better to mount these shorter bars where needed rather than trying to extend a long bar to cover everything.

I think these are good quality grab bars, but it was hard to put the caps on after you mounted the grab bar.
