Works great via USB 5v but awful with batteries
These work great but only when you connect it to DC 5V using a USB cable and adapter. When using the batteries, it drain the batteries real quick and because the batteries are low, the remote stops working. The issue is that the remote is RF and not IR. RF is great, you don't have to have line of sight but it also requires more power and on both ends. Since the batteries drain so fast, the RF receiver fails to respond to the remote commands. Use any USB charging adapter that's 5 volts and a USB extension cable and it works great.

Terrible product! Don’t waste your money!
I used these light strips over my kitchen cabinets. They worked fine at first, then they conked out, tried changing batteries & even the batteries in the remote. Terrible product, but now I have passed the return date, so I guess I am out of luck & money

Not a quality product!
Batteries die after 5 mins! Waste of money!

You get what you pay for
I liked the many options of colors, but two weeks into having it the remote doesn’t work as well as it did. Wrong colors no matter what color you pick, and some colors aren’t even selectable. Also, It drained 8 batterys in 2 hours, which is insane for led lights

Don’t waste your time!
LED strips looked promising however remotes stopped controlling the lights in less than two weeks. Returning for a refund.

Skip buying these
Remote works funky-the buttons do not correlate correctly, and if you leave the switch to on, even if the lights are off, the batteries die. Not impressed.
