This is a nice frame, the pictures do not do this justice. Not "heavy", but sturdy frame, well built. And the packaging on this was great. Came in a box that said "glass", though it's plexiglass. Well wrapped on both sides, the plexiglass is thick, took some time to get the coating off, designed for travel and protecting against cracks or breakable. The corners protected, rewrapped in a box with straps across the top/bottom and sides to hold in place. This is a must when shipping. Everything came perfect, was able to put my picture in the frame right away without any fixes to the frame for damage.The back of the frame itself is thick cardboard that holds the picture up against the plexiglass. It is held in place by typical little metal backstops, hammered into the frame, you bend out to pull the backing up, and bend back into place to hold. The wall mount comes separate, quick to install, 2 triangle rings that screw to the outside side of the frame, 1 each side, and a wire to string across between/through the triangles. You decide how high up the sides of the frame you want these in place, honestly designed for whatever you may already have in place. I have cubicle walls, so use the L hooks, adjustable cubicle wall hanger, and set the triangles high up since the L hook only drops down a short ways. The hanging wire hangs behind the picture, not visible, and the frame looks nice on the wall.I was skeptical at first on the price, seems a little high, but on the packaging and care to store and ship, this is where some of that cost goes to, it's perfect. You get your frame in the usable condition it is supposed to be in. I highly recommend this frame series, if the design strikes you. It is worth the money.

The frame is perfect for an old Victorian black and white photo of my husband's Grandmother's family when she was a girl. The framed photo looks as if it could have been the original frame! What my husband was so impressed with is how well the frame was packaged and with recyclable wrappings.

I had a picture printed professionally for my brother’s birthday , something very meaningful and I looked everywhere to find a frame very similar to this one. Gold chrome look antique, timeless. Amazon delivered!!

Like it so much I bought another!The black 24x36 frame is just what I needed! I was a little worried about acrylic vs glass but it looks good and it is much lighter. Appreciate the supplied hanging hardware as well. It is NOT made like a cheap poster frame so I do not expect it to warp, it is wood and expect it to last a long time.

Product looked good even when it showed up. But when the delivery got out he dropped it and threw it. So as usual when you go through fed-ex. It's late by at least a week and it's broken.
