In fairness, the product matches its description and the crop grew well. However, it's a very expensive way to get a few mushrooms although it was interesting growing them. The instructions were presumably translated by the French manufacturer and are, in parts, incomprehensible gobbledygook.

Can't comment on the results as it's a present. The box is rubbish. The contents had spilled out and we were lucky to find the waterer. Ensure it is sent in an Amazon box when ordering.

The item was delivered on time, well packaged and some decent instructions in multiple languages. However, after a few weeks nothing has yet to grow in it. The growing medium has a robust smell to it, kind of like a wooded area after a heavy rain storm, oddly pleasant. But no growing mushrooms, happy to amend my review should something grow, but at this point there is no activity (instructions say 10 days for first signs, i'm three times past that). Had such hopes

I’ve had to blur it for privacy reasons, but the image is how I Receive the product. Not in a separate box but printed on the actual product, over the opening flap where the mushrooms should grow- I have tried to peel it off gently but it tugs and starts to rip at the box beneath it . This is a gift otherwise I wouldn’t mind so much, but I’m not sure what to do with it now. Very disappointed if I’m giving it to anyone like this with my address and such on it, such an eyesore , and even if I managed to get it off it would scuff they box up. I won’t take stars off for anything but giftable though.

Only a few started to grow, I followed the instructions, my bad luck

The mushrooms grew well and we got 1 crop. Other bits started to grow but they died off. Had 2 boxes for 2 different people and they both found the same. Mushrooms tasted nice and it is intriguing to watch them grow

Hubby is a keen and accomplished gardener, but even he could not persuade any mushrooms to grow, followed the instructions, but as yet, 4 weeks later, we still have no mushrooms.. ( Even hopeful though )

This was a gift but unfortunately it had already started to grow in the box before it was received, which broke off. Therefore the remaining part that grew was very small and very disappointing.
