Spend an extra $10 for a proper adapter.
The device does NOT work correctly with torque and J1850 protocol. Torque even warns that cheap clones like this one won't work with J1850. Communication is horribly slow. Bluetooth connection is iffy at best, and won't connect with any other device after pairing with my phone.

Don't work!
I bought 2 because the price was cheep enough, big mistake! Both will not work with my Chevrolet Express 3500 Van! It just gave a little information about my vehicle, nothing else works, quite disappointing!

I bought this item three different times. Returned it three different times.Spend the few extra dollars, and get a good one.Different brands, same thing. Do not buy the little clear blue reader.

Waste! Does not work with Torque
Total waste of money! Does not work with Torque. Its a shame that Amazon allows junk like this. Very disappointed
