Does exactly what it's supposed to, it's perfect for adding to a set of keys or a backpack to keep them in sight in the dark. Seems pretty sturdy to me so I think it would be good for a few years hard use. Tritium tube is rated for 10+ years of glowing so I think it will more than pay for itself.

I bought some of these 15 years ago. I put them on my bunches off keys and work bag. They have performed as I wanted them to all that time. However as I have had them longer that their half life period they had dimmed. I have replaced them all. I will do it again in another 15 years. Note these are not torches and they do not put out a beam. The tritium (which is an isotope of hydrogen) gives out charged particles that strike a coating on the inside of the marker. The tritium agitates the molecules in the coating which gives of light as photons. Every ten years the amount of tritium left has reduced by half. So the tritium markers I have just taken out of use will continue to glow gainer and fainter for a very very long time.

The one on the left is the new one. The one on the right I have had over 10 years. Same make, same size.In my opinion, the 'new' one was probably in stock somewhere along the line between manufacture and dispatch.However Nite is the only true Tritium I have found. Expensive but lasts for years.

These are a godsend! My partner had one and I could always find his keys and never my own. So I bought us both new ones! I think I may purchase more of these in future for key sets for different things as there a few colours aslp. We currently have the blue and ultra violet. They seem to Last forever..really happy with these keyrings

I bought this exact make/model tritium vile several years ago and it was far brighter than these that I bought recently. Weather they're just very old stock or the amount of tritium allowed to be used has changed I don't know but they are virtually useless.A great shame.
