Vacuum Sealer Upgraded Automatic Vacuum Air Sealing System Preserve & Store Food Vacuo for Sous Vide Cooking Roll of Vacuum Bags (Black）

I bought the Lunalife vacuum sealer so I could keep meat and vegetables fresher, as well as to marinade meats and also to use for sous vide.I think it's a good machine for 1 to 2 people. It's a bit on the small side, but that's perfect for me and is exactly what I was wanting. It's a great size to vacuum seal a steak or a chicken breast, and the bags that are included are perfect for that as well. I don't think it would be good for a prepper or someone looking to use it heavily, but for breaking up meats into individual portions, sous vide for 1 to 2 people, etc, it's pretty good!It's very quiet and pretty easy to use. I had to mess with the bag to get it to work work right, but that was my own issue, not the sealer's!I made some meatballs with hamburger and had a bunch of meat left over, so I decided I'd try to use the sealer and vacuum pack the meat for usage at a later time. I fit probably a lb of my meat mixture in the bag, which is great! I always buy hamburger in bulk, and split it up into individual packages of about an lb... So, this would work even better than a plain old ziploc bag, like I've been using!The seal seems pretty nice and tight. I also really like that the included bags have these little tear away notches, so I won't have to dirty up a pair of kitchen scissors when opening my packages.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this vacuum sealer for anyone looking for one that does individual portions well.I've not had this very long, but it seems pretty awesome and just what I was looking for! I'll keep you updated as I continue to use it.

I tested this item and originally could not get it to work. you need to put only half the bag in the holder clip so its held open in the suction part, after that it seemed to suck out the air well.I test this on original product bags and ziplock freezer bags, for these it did not do a good job sealing it as it melted all the way through. the air eventually got back in (15-20 min later).Testing with the bags that the machine came with the air seems to hold. I do think this machine would benefit from a better sealer as the one on it is a single strip and not the best seal.

Was worried about buying it because it was so inexpensive but it works. If anyone has issues here's what I do for bags that don't seal.I had issues sealing in food saver bags with it since the plastic is much thicker. Using the long press method is useless for these bags. What does work is to seal a bag, vacuum seal it empty, then cut the first sealed size open, place items inside, and vacuum seal that side. Effectively on my sealer i have to use the vacuum seal function on both sides. It is annoying but it works and it was inexpensive.I vacuum sealed a pen about 4 months ago and it is still holding that seal well so I would say it gets the job done.

We used the bags that came with the machine to test it. First it would not seal at all. Then i tried to put the rough side of the bag down side. That worked. But by the next day there was air in the bag. We have not tried with store bought bags yet. Sure hope they don't leak air. maybe put a second seal line on the bags.

I purchased this vacuum sealer so that I could seal my small bags. Unfortunately, there is no heat setting and the bag melted. It sealed it, but melted the overage off. Would probably work for thicker, food storage bags made to be used with a food sealer.Not what I had wanted.

For some reason this particular food sealer keeps melting through their own bags. So unfortunately it's not properly sealing about half of the time.

I've wanted to buy one of these for a while and I'm not sure why I never did. I chose this because it was very inexpensive. I wasnt expecting anything grand, but, I was quite surprised. It was so easy to use. Snap the cover closed, push one button and done. Nothing fancy about it, it just does what it's supposed to do. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I'm sure you will too.

I received this item on a Friday and submitted a request for refund on Saturday. I purchased this item to mainly package meats and homemade cookies. This item did not vacuum any air out of the bag. The "sealing" function did not provide an actual seal. The marinade I made began leaking from the seal. Also, I was able to pull the seam apart (like a zip-lock bag). Its possible that I received a faulty model. However, with the product not functioning properly, as well as, I didn't like the look of the product, I decided to return it. I decided to purchase different brand vacuum sealer.
