Great beginner machine
That's 5 stars "for what it is." In other words, I'm not comparing to a much more expensive "pro" machine - I'm saying for making a basic espresso, it does its job well.Even though it doesn't tell you the actual pressure, I like the fact that there is a pressure gauge. What it does show you is if you're brewing within an ideal pressure range for espresso - and if you're not, you can modify your grind fineness or tamping pressure accordingly. I accidentally ground some much too fine, and the gauge did, in fact, show that I was over the ideal espresso range. And sure enough, the result was much too strong and bitter, so I reground my bean a little coarser, didn't change anything else, and sure enough, the gauge came back down into the appropriate range and the coffee tasted better.So...if you're an espresso connoisseur, this is NOT the machine for you, but if you dabble and want a pretty good machine that won't break the back, this is a good choice.(It's also very narrow so fits easily almost anywhere on the counter)(also, I haven't used the steam wand, but others say it's serviceable)

Espresso with training wheels
I feel a little bit guilty trying to write a review of this espresso machine. I went through a period in my life where I really geeked out about making espresso, and I ended up heavily modifying my machine (Gaggia Classic) to have precise and variable temperature control, shot duration, etc. After many years my machine finally succumbed to the ravages of hard water, and I moved onto pour over coffee. I thought my espresso era was over...but then I saw this machine offered on Vine, and I had a sudden nostalgic desire to dabble in espresso once more.I probably should have spent some more time reading through the product description and reviews before ordering this. I would have realize that the user has no control over the temperature, no easy control over the shot duration (just dedicated buttons for 1 or 2 cups, which sort of means 'shots'). You also get pressurized baskets, so no real crema nor any clear indication that your shot is going well -- you'll need a bottomless portafilter and non-pressurized baskets for that.So I had to totally recalibrate my expectations about what I could get out of this machine. I had to give up control of most of the big factors that control the quality of a shot. In the end I was able to pull some decent double shots, but it really was no fun for me at all.If you're someone who is not too picky, nor particularly curious about all the subtleties that go into pulling the perfect shot, this might be the right kind of machine for you. It's attractive -- adorable, really, compact, feels reasonably well built for the price, and is straightforward to use. But for the love of all that is holy, at least get a decent quality burr grinder. It should cost at least as much as this machine, but preferably twice as much or more.3.5/5 stars. I just can't go back to a machine that takes this much control out of my hands when making espresso. I am glad I got a chance to try this though, and I think this company makes a pretty solid product at a low price point. The fact that it has a stainless steel boiler and PID temperature control at this price point is laudable. I may yet hold onto this and try hacking it to do what I want at some point. If you're just looking for something inexpensive to push water through coffee at high pressure, this model might be worth your consideration.

Fantastic espresso maker. Stylish and good quality, ideal for the beginner or busy espresso drinker
I recently bought the CASABREWS Espresso Machine, and it's been a great addition to my kitchen. First thing I want to say to be crystal clear is that I really love this machine and what it offers me. A pretty darn good shot of espresso (or double shot) with or without frothed milk for a cappucino etc. And its gets used often in my household for exactly that and its great. The 20 Bar pressure system delivers rich, flavorful espresso, and the milk frother creates perfectly creamy lattes and cappuccinos. I love how compact it is, fitting nicely on my countertop without taking up too much space, and the 34oz water tank means I don’t have to refill it constantly. The stainless steel design looks sleek and professional, giving the machine a nice look. However, there are a few minor downsides, and this applies to those who were former basrristas or espresso coffee enthusiasts who will want more controls over their coffee. This product simply does not offer any of that. You press the button and you get a nice espresso, beyond that you will need to look for a more expensive set up. Overall, though, for me and my purposes it’s a fantastic choice as I am only looking to make café-quality drinks at home without breaking the bank. Loving it so far!
