Sadly, trust the negative reviews. *UPDATE: completely stopped working
**UPDATE: this product has completely stopped working. Turning it "off" would only turn it to red light, and there was no way via the remote or the direct control button to actually turn the light off. It has since stopped allowing any air to pass through and came disconnected from the bottom of my tank. I wish I were still in the return period!Original review:I had high hopes that our air pump was strong enough (rated for 60 gallons, in our 40 gallon tank) that this product would work for us, but alas, I should have trusted the negative reviews! We can, occasionally, get bubbles out of up to three holes on this bar (and yes, we've tried tilting, angling, blocking holes, etc... that helps for maybe a minute before the bubbles stop). We now have hooked up an air toy to the other end and just let the air escape there, instead. It's very disappointing when you splurge on this product for the wall of bubbles and the visual effect that imparts and you get a pitiful bubble stream instead, but the lights do look nice and I won't go through the effort of removing this from my tank. FYI, for those using a 40-gallon breeder, it fits but only just: the air lines on either end will be sharply bent, although it was enough for air to pass in our setup.

Why two air intakes?
I’ve bought this before and it worked okay but this time. The air intake is on both sides. So you hook one end of the tubing to the pump and the other to the light strip and instead of the strip bubbling all through the strip like it’s supposed to, it just comes out the other end? The last one I bought the other end was flat it didn’t have a second air intake….

Good value, beautiful add to any tank!
The media could not be loaded. Recently decided to move our 30G tank into another room, and in that did a little redecorating for our aquatic friends! Picked out this light bubbler (going from a smaller disc one and an air stone), got the 20” and upgraded to a 10W pump along with it. Love how it looks and operates. Can’t speak to the longevity yet (I’ll update if it falters) but this is a beautiful add and everyone seems happy!

Repeat buyer, not happy.
Repeat buyer, spent $50 for the large one to replace a smaller one I had. And 3 days into use the lights come on and go off by themselves. I even tried my old remote from the smaller one to see if it was temote or the lightning in the bar itself. So now I'm questioning wiring and safety in tank. This is the 3rd one I've bought and had issues with first one years ago and they replaced it and now 3rd purchase has issues too. already threw away boxes so I guess I'm out $50 now. Seem like a gamble on getting a well built one...

I really like it!! Be sure to get a stronger aerator
I was skeptical due to other reviews, however it really brings my rank together. It looks great and oxygenates my tank really good. I bought and adjustable output aerator with two exhausts. The one I had before wasn’t powerful enough and only blew bubbles out of like 2 of the holes on the device. It wasn’t a big deal to me to get the new aerator it’s really quiet anyways nd works well too. I’d recommend getting longer tubing as well. It comes with some but not enough length.
