I bought this for my son's new 10-note kalimba he got for Christmas. From what I can find, this is likely the best case you can get for your kalimba from a feature standpoint, but I'm not in love with it. There could be better cases made, but since they don't seem to exist this is the best I could do. Here are the features that make me feel this is the best option on the market:1) Large storage pocket inside -it holds a lot and I like that I can fold a piece of printer paper in half and it easily fits. All the accessories it comes with fit there and there is still room for more. Although things can fall out because you can't zip it closed.2) Hard case design with foam padding- it will not smash your kalimba, although it could use some additional padding on the front and back of the case if you are worried about drops.3) Home for your tuning hammer - very secure and this is probably the biggest sell for me on this case over other similar cases.4) Handles - easy to carry/prefer this handle design better than a wrist strap, but would like a shoulder strap more.5) Material - durable nylon will stand the test of time.6) Accessories - since I bought this for my son the finger protectors were a selling point, but they would be small for most adults. The cleaning cloth would be only item I would keep if it were for me. I don't see much use for the glove.The biggest complaint I have is that there is no elastic strap to hold the kalimba in the case. I added my own strap as it was absolutely necessary with his kalimba being only a 10-note size. I don't have a 17-note kalimba to know if it would be secure enough without a strap, but I know that it would make me feel better even with it fitting more snuggly.Also, I would love to see this in more colors.

I purchased this case to replace the box and storage bag my Kalimba originally came in. My sister got a Kalimba that came with a case similar to this one. I didn't even know they made cases for the Kalimba originally until I saw hers. So I checked it out, and, sure enough, found one for myself 😁. This is a nice zipper shut case that fits my Kalimba perfectly and also has a place to store the tuning hammer. It also came withe a few accessories that were an additional bonus for the money👍🏻. 8 highly recommend this product if your in the need of a case that will protect your instrument better than a drawstring bag and/or cardboard box! Well worth the money 👍🏻

I ordered this case for my lil girl’s birthday Kalimba as hers didn’t come with one. It did come in nicely packaged. Although, it is plain to see the outside part of the case is badly rippled. That is really disappointing as she will be carrying her Kalimba different places and would like for it to look nicer. I am hoping it won’t snag on something and rip the back of the case. The inside, is far nicer. Her Kalimba fits very nicely inside it. The instrument doesn’t shift and is easy to take out. We like the pocket to hold accessories. Her hammer isn’t inside as I tune her Kalimba with my own and it will not fit with the wooden handle. Her hammer looks like it will easily fit though. The cloth is of good size and feels nice. She likes the gloves that are included. She likes the thumb protectors although we were a tad disappointed they were a bit mismatched. Overall, it’s all great but the outer portion of the case is unsightly. Quality check needs to be done before shipping out to customers.

I am so happy to find this bag that fits my kalimba so perfectly and so securely. I was carrying it my the box it came in which was of course beginning to fall apart and never felt very protective anyway. Now I don't have to worry and I can feel good about taking my instrument out with me where ever I want to.

This case was a gift for my grandson. We watched him open it on Zoom. He liked it and immediately went to get his Kalimba to see if it fit. Perfect fit! Very nice case, and it was well padded to protect the instrument. Amazon is amazing! It only took two days to arrive and we had it shipped directly to him. Thanks, everyone!

Is is good for the purpose of a case. It’s a little thin, but it is a nice case. The color of the case ended up being a royal blue. In the picture I thought it was going to be more purpley but no. It’s blue blue. Not mad though

The case is a welcome addition, although I can't fit the tuning hammer into it. I like the handle on the tuning hammer much better than the other one I have. I was also impressed by the speed with which I received this kalimba. It was to come on Monday, but it actually arrived on Friday. I'm enjoying playing this instrument.
