Pigtronix Electric Guitar Single Effect, Red (OCT)

Cool pedal. My first octave fuzz. I'm digging it for both it's fuzz without the octave and it's ability to get into ring modulation territory with the octave blended in. I like it! Also due it it's small footprint it fits nicely on my pedaltrain mini.

This is my second Pigtronix pedal and won't be my last. On the leads, I was getting that Hendrix Band of Gypsies tone I've been searching for. But my power chords, ungodly heavy, borderline synth tone. Would be great for stoner metal. Just got this pedal today and I love it. I'm sure as time goes on, I will tweak many more interesting tones out of this awesome pedal.

Awesome Octavia type pedal for getting those Hendrix/Kenny Wayne Shepherd tones. With the octave rolled off it's also a great fuzz with a RAT like tone.

This pedal sounds incredible and built solid! It has a really nice rich fuzz tone that is just perfect and natural sounding. The octave-up effect can be subtle or more pronounced, but it has a very musical analog charm no matter how you set it. The blend and filter knobs give you tons of flexibility. Very inspiring!Also, this pedal is extremely quiet, which is nice because I have some other pedals on my board that have a great sound but at the cost of being a little noisy - not this one! Pigtronix has completely impressed me, and I am now looking at what else they have to offer.My advice: steer clear of hyped hipstery brands like Earthquaker Devices and look into this brand and others like it that make pedals with mature sounds that can last you a lifetime as a player and be used in the studio to great effect (EHX, Effectrode, Fulltone, Roger Mayer, Danelectro’s top tier stuff, etc.).

I saw this pedal only had one review so I wanted to give one. I have this pedal and an authentic chicago ironworks tychobrahe which is 3 times the cost and this pedal is just as good if not better. Killer tones. Very flexible. The blend knob is nice to adjust the wet to dry of octave effect. This is the octavia pedal you want and need on your board. Dont waste your time with anything else.
