These are always a good helpful item to have, even if you only look up one thing and fix it, it's worth the money. I bought 4-5 of these over the years.These books are full of great information I always find helpful and the terms are explained in a great & understanding dialog so even I can grasp how to push the correct button at the right time.Hungry

This book is pretty comprehensive but could do with an update, obviously written before the advent of windows 7 and is not exactly "for dummies", not sure a total IT novice flicking through this weighty tome would know where to to start. Recommended for more experienced users and useful as a reference for more complex networking tasks and issues. Good value at the price.

Don't bother with this book unless you are almost completely computer illiterate.In addition the book needs to be updated - what computers need network adapters installed these days?
