I purchased this mower to replace my ageing flymoAs i have a small lawn this is ideal, but the blades are quiet expensive compared to the flymo, and do not last very long, but the blade holder off my old small flymo fits this sovereign mower so i can use the more robust flymo blades. Hope this review helps.

Once upon a time Black and Decker used to make a very small wheeled mower with a metal blade (and cheap), it was very light and I was trying to find something similar. Unfortunately this one is no where as good as the Black and Decker one.It is easy to assemble although I did not think the bottom pegs would go in as they required quite a bit of pressure. The handle also folds up easily for storage. I liked the way the switches were easy to use with either the right or left hand.It is light and easy to maneuver which is what I wanted however it does not cut very well. I suppose it is nearer to a strimmer than mower as it has a couple of little plastic cutters, another 4 pairs are included.There are two height adjustments which involve turning the cutter assembly the other way up.In summary a small light mower that does not cut very well. Also shop around as I found one at less than 1/2 the manufacturers recommended price on the high-street.

What it does is mash up the grass a bit as you heave itabout. Waste of money
