The Times Universal Atlas of the World

Purchased for my son for Christmas. I know he will really wear this out!

One of the best Atlas I have seen, good value and full of the information you would want.

Tremendous atlas with beautifully maps and lots of intersting information.

the detail on the pages are excellent also the information. it was purchased for a senior lady who has Arthritis in the hands, it will not be suitable for anyone with like or similar disposition as it is really heavy. but makes really good reading

Clear mapping and much,much more,simply the best

This atlas is a nice size and I very much like cartography of the Collins-Bartholomew company. But the maps in this atlas are too small and too few in number. There are only 65 double page maps in this atlas but they only use about one and a half of those two pages for the map and the rest is text about the countries shown. The atlas also includes 15 double page maps reproduced from an 1898 world atlas. These are historic maps but not about historic events.I like the DK Concise World Atlas which is similar in size and price but it does a better job of presenting larger maps with photos and facts about each country shown.

More than happy with this atlas, gift for myself. Lots of details and up to date maps. Also liked the historical maps.

I was so disappointed with this product. Our copy is missing several pages and has numerous pages bound upside down. This was a gift for my grand daughter, so I didn't discover the problems until it was too late to return.
