Latches were bent but seems to function properly
I guess whichever “500 lb. Slide” you order from Amazon, if the latches are NOT bent you’ve inadvertently ordered a toaster. I used some channel locks to carefully straighten them out. So far, so good.I used diagonal measurements to position the slides “square” and then used truss head bolts to mount them. Both latches engage at the same time. Obviously, the mounting surfaces need to be parallel and the slides level and level to each other. Mounting the tray was not difficult. I mounted the front then the back. Once it’s on the slide, the remaining screws can be installed. I used truss head screws. Truss heads have a lower and wider profile.500 pounds seems optimistic. At full extension it looks vulnerable. My tray is 6’x3’ 18mm baltic birch and probably weighs weighs 60 lbs. Tools are heavy. Take care loading it up.

Very finicky but work as advertised - REVISED !
The good:They are very solid - you literally can stand on them once installed.Compatible with 80/20 extrusion systems - there are holes all the way aft on 1/5 centers !Smooth, reliableThe bad:Fairly finicky & difficult to set up - HOWEVER most of that is on how they are installed there is a learning curve that is not the fault of the product. These install much better in metal than wood !Not so great with drawer facades - work better with the ends exposed. They do not separate - this makes installation / adjustment extremely arduous. It is unfortunate they have not figured out a way to do allow the drawers to come out once installed. We build custom cabinets for adventure vans - and often, we use drawer fronts / facades on the drawers to conceal the contents - well the tolerances are so tight on these rails that even a few thousandths off makes them impossible to latch or unlatch smoothly. Its caused us a lot of grief so now we are no longer putting facades on our drawers - this gives things a more industrial look but most customers are OK with it. I do not recommend facades at all on drawers.I have revised this review after using several products from other manufacturers - this one BY FAR is the best solution albeit not perfect. The manufacturer stands by their product as well - we had one issue they fixed it immediately. We no longer will use any other product but this one - we just wish they would make the sliders able to separate it would make things much easier.Pics - note drawers with facade (hidden framework) and non-facade (framework exposed) the latter is a MUCH better application of this product. Also - do not install these in wood unless you use bushings or EZ-LOKs.

Great USA Made Lock in / Lock out Slides
Love these slides, Tech support form the Folks at Ryadon was fantastic both pre and post sale. One warning: Always pull the slides out to the full extension or they may start to jam up. Ran into this with one of my drawers and sent an email to the support folks at the manufacturer. they replied:"After repeated cycles, if the slides are NOT pulled out to full extension, the ball strips will migrate. The only way to reset them is to pull the sliding assembly out to full extension to reset the ball strips. It may be a little difficult but that’s okay. You will have to force the sliding assembly to slip thru the ball strips to full extension."Resetting the ball strips took more force than I would have applied without their advice. All sliding well now.

Great slides for the money
These slides are very stout and I think they are going to last the long haul. Another reviewer had issues with them closing. I did as well and it was a result of a rubber bumper contacting the last mounting screw head. I haven't tried it yet but think trimming the bumper slightly will solve the problem. These are significantly cheaper than other similar slides so a great deal in my opinion. My main issue is that the do not separate so that you can mount one side to the drawer and one to the case and then combine. This can make mounting them a challenge. We took our time and so far so good. We also used ezlok inserts E-Z Lok Threaded Insert, Zinc, Hex-Flanged, #10-24 Internal Threads, 0.394" Length (Pack of 50) and E-Z Lok Threaded Insert, Zinc, Hex-Flanged, 1/4"-20 Internal Threads, 13mm Length (Pack of 100) in the wood we have mounted them in for ease of removal and install. Our project isn't complete yet so we will update this when done. You can also see our install progress and thoughts on these by searching "brady adventures ryadon" on youtube

Good Quality Slides...but no hardware...
When I ordered these, I was unsure if it was going to be the quality that I was hoping for due to the fact that these are half the price of a lot of other heavy duty slides. The first thing I noticed when these came were how heavy they were -- they felt solid. They slide well, so far, and the locking pins engage well. For those on a budget, I'd definitely recommend these. The only issue I have is that there was no indication (at least obvious indication) that no mounting hardware comes with these...I was pretty disappointed about that as all slides I've ever purchased before came with the necessary hardware.

Great slides. Be sure to check the springs.
These things are awesome. My only complaint is the springs for the locking mechanism are soft and weak. On more than one occasion the springs became dislodged from their mounting holes, Causing damage to the springs.

Broken slide
I just installed these slides and as I was going to use for the first time the lock lever broke off in my hand. The slides seem to work ok except the left slide doesn't lock now. I emailed the seller to see if they would replace the slide and they took a couple days to get back to me but said they would send me a new slide.

Very nice but 1 flaw
Massive and robust, these are nice slides. The locking mechanism is orientation based, so you need to be sure you install the right slide on the right side. -1 Star because the locking mechanism is gravity base, which means they don't work if you were planning on using them in a flat orientation. Have to change my design plans now, but oh well, I like them enough that it's not a deal breaker.
