Forewarning: I cannot be certain, but I think the device interfered with my router and caused the router to stop working. I dug out an older router and started using it, but I have turned it off when I want to use the Ultrasonic Mouse Repellent--at night when rodents are active.For the first time ever, I caught a rat! I was horrified and so I bought the Repellent, hoping it would take care of any rodents that wanted to take up residence. When I recently had to go away for a couple of weeks, I turned off the modem and router and I left the Mouse Repellent running on the variable cycle (there are three cycles that can be used). Upon my return, there wasn't any sign of any rodents--rats and mice alike!When in operation, the Repellent is kept next to the wall so I can be sure the ultrasonic waves are penetrating beyond the room. I am so incredibly impressed with how well this gadget works, that it was worth having my router get tripped up. It has saved me from countless problems caused by rodents and it has saved me from potentially huge bills to fix whatever the rodents might have "broken".Since my return home, a few weeks ago, there has been no indication of rodents, even though I have not used the Repellent since my return. However, given I live in a rural setting, it is likely there will be plenty of times in the future when mice (hopefully not rats) will try moving in. I know they will be quickly evicted as soon as I turn on the Ultra Sonic Repellent!

It was working great until it didn’t, lasted two months until it die.

Weather changed (very cold), and so did the mice! Mice look for a warm spot, and we became overwhelmed with them in our garage & laundry room (haven't had mice for over 14 years). Once we located and plugged up a couple of very small possible entry areas, the mice population slowed down, but we decided to add the ultrasonic repellers as a preventive measure, and so far after using for 3 days, no mice after catching (safely) close to 100! We have 3 Dogs, and they were not bothered by any possible noise interference. Was it the small holes that stopped them, or the ultrasonic repeller?? Couldn't really say, but this is not a big investment to take a chance on...glad we did!

Based on past reviews I wasn’t sure if I should buy it or not but I decided to take the chance. Sooo glad I did. This works really well and better than any of the other ultrasonic devices I got in the past. Everyone else says they can not even hear it. I can if I get close, easy to use.

Red light came on but never worked at all. I try to give it a chance and missed the time to return it. Truly a waste of money. Too expensive not to work.

I had something probably a squirrel in my attic, so I placed this up there and plugged it in. In a day or so I have not heard any noises from an animal. So it annoyed it enough to send it to the next house it seems. Will use as needed but hopefully not again

It won’t even turn on. When it did, I saw a rat in my garage with two of these.. months after i plugged it in.

The media could not be loaded. The product was very easy to setup. I can't speak to it's effectiveness as I just started using it, but it's not as silent as I hoped. I bought this for our kitchen. From the adjacent room, it sounds like the faint ticking of of a wall clock. It doesn't bother me, but my roommate is sensitive to certain sounds including wall clocks. Hopefully it will not be an issue, but this may not be the product for you, if you are sensitive to some sounds such as a ticking clock.
