Fantastic Little Droid :)
This little guy is just fantastic! :) Easily the best R4-P17 figure you can get. :) It's hard to find a good R4-P17 figure since he's not all that popular and not too many variations have been released. This is the R4-P17 figure from the Revenge of the Sith figure line. Now, when Revenge of the Sith was first coming out, Hasbro released a sneak preview R4-P17 figure, but it looked terrible, and had this completely orange dome with almost no painted details. So this one is a huge step up from the sneak preview one. :) R4-P17 is Obi-Wan Kenobi's astromech droid, and we really only see him a couple of time throughout the movies. I imagine this is why Hasbro hasn't made many variations of this figure.Moving on to features and articulation, now! :) This figure pretty much has all of the articulation as any good astromech figure. The head and side legs rotate a full 360 degrees, and all three of his feet pivot. Also, each foot has a wheel at the bottom, allowing the figure to roll around a lot easier. To bring out the third leg, you have to rotate the head. Rotate it one was to lower the leg, and rotate the head the other way to raise the leg. I'll admit, I'm not terribly fond of this feature, but it's not enough of a problem for me to take points away from this figure. All in all, I absolutely love this figure! :) He looks fantastic, the details are great, and the paintjob is spot on. :) Like I mentioned earlier, they don't make too many variations of this figure, so if you're looking for a good R4-P17 to add to your collection, this is the one that I recommend. :) Since this figure was part of the Revenge of the Sith figure line, you can't get it in most stores anymore. If you're looking to get one of these, I'd recommended getting one here on Amazon, or on eBay (since you may be able to get a better deal on him there). You might be able to find him at stores that specialize in things like action figures and comics too, though.I hope this review was able to help you guys out and answer any questions you might have about the figure. If not, feel free to ask any questions you may have, and I'll do my best to help you guys out. :)

R4 was def under rated
Poor R4 met his doom in Ep III. We never truly got to see him in action. Anyway this is a very well made action figure and will supply hours of fun for your little Star Wars fanatic or maybe hours of fun for Dad? Hmmmm....anyway they made R4 as good as they could make an action figure of an astromech droid. Very satisfied and although a little pricey for a small figure, R4 is hard to find so I can see why it's more expensive then say R2. This figure has rolling wheels on bottom of feet and the middle leg retract into body when you turn the domed head clockwise/counter clockwise to bring down leg. Very pleased with the figure. Recommended.

nice for the price
Nicely done little figure. Like the rest of the r2d2 type droids there is little movement. Head moves side to side, legs move back and forth. There is no third leg or accessories on this guy but for the price it is still nicely done. For such a small figure the detail is actually pretty amazing. Displayed next to my 6" black series R2D2 which goes for about 4 times the price you can clearly see from top to bottom just about every line, crease and detail matches up perfectly. Of course none of the extra bells and whistles but you can't go wrong for the price.

Great for what it is
This is the (new-ish) R2 sculpt that they should use for every astro droid going forward. No complaints. Thanks, Hasbro!
