I am a female with a 9.5 shoe. I have very narrow, low volume feet. These socks are unisex so I ordered a medium. When I took them out of the package they looked like little girl socks. I guess they stretch to keep them tight so they don't buckle in a boot. I find the medium a bit tight on my toes but the calves feel very comfortable. I would definitely order a large next time and think twice if I had a wide foot or was a man with big feet.

These are taller socks and have a lot of cushion. Great for people who are on their feet a lot.
