Amazing tool. How did I ever work without it!
This thing is great! I dropped a little plastic sensor into my car’s defroster vents while I was working on it. The area is super awkward jammed up against the windshield. I couldn’t see in there, maybe with a mirror, and it went deep in there. I was looking at taking apart my entire dash to get to it. I bought this “industrial” endoscope (they call it that so it doesn’t end up someone’s butt😝…”industrial”…people…not “medical”!) And used it and a tube claw grabber to pull it out. It’s got a lit end, so the camera can see in dark places. You can adjust the brightness of the LED light. The tip rotates along one axis, a little more than 90 degrees each way. You have to twist the wire if you want to move along another axis. It takes a little hand-eye coordination at first; the way you’re looking in the camera might not be oriented the same as the camera end (“up” on screen might be “left” where you have the camera tip). But you get used to it, and it’s suprisingly dexterous! The length of the probe tube is long, at about 5 feet(don’t quote me, I didn’t put a tape measure on it. But it’s way longer than expected). This is handy when you need to get in a comfortable position to view the screen on your left and work the tube with your right. Why does this make me choose my words so carefully? 😝In all seriousness, this is a quality tool. And now I have a million uses for it. I used it to check some ground wire connections deep behind the engine block, where you can’t see. Or under the car, when I didn’t want to crawl under there. It’s like having an extra eye that fits anywhere. The unit can take pictures to share. So, I dunno, you can stick it thru a wall and email your plumber a photo of a leak or whatever. Again, 1,000,000 uses.It comes with a tidy little varying case to protect it and bundle some other things with it.I would get a “grabber” thing (flexible tube with claw at one end and syringe plunger handle on the other) with it, because seeing something is great, but you also want to be able to do something about it.Also, it charges with USB-C. It comes with a cable : USB-C to USB-A…but no little electrical socket plug. Just use one from a cell phone(the square Apple ones, or just use a cell charger directly. I didn’t use their cable. FYI. In case it’s “mission critical”, order a cell charge cable, too. Battery lasts about 45 minutes, which isn’t a lot. But it’s easy to charge…even in a car cell charger.I would recommend it!

Good price for DIY automotive engine diagnostics camera
I purchased this unit to replace my previous fiber optics unit that plugged into my phone but had no articulation capabilities. I used this camera to inspect engine cylinders and needed the ability to look 180 degrees at the valves. The lighting on the camera was excellent, the picture quality was very good, and the ability to articulate the lens a full 180 degrees worked as expected. For the price this unit accomplished it's goal of allowing me to see why I had excessive leak down in a couple of cylinders and confirmed my need to remove the cylinder heads for further repair. The ability to take video with sound are helpful to document what cylinder I'm looking at and describe what I found for future reference. One additional function that would be useful, but probably only found in expensive commercial units, is the ability to articulate the fiber optics 180 degrees in several direction instead of just the one. It is impossible to look around the entire cylinder because the articulation only occurs in one direction.Rotating the fiber optics cable while attached to the hand held camera does not work very well.Overall I am happy with my purchase and am glad to add this camera to my collection of automotive diagnostic tools.

Performed exactly as I had hoped.
I purchased this product hoping I would be able to view the space between 2 courses of bricks from the top of the inside brick wall surrounding a fireplace mantle, floor to ceiling. The interior space between the fireplace facing brick and the outside wall bricks was open at the top because I had removed the ceiling for renovation. I needed to fish an electrical feed down the spacing but was unable to get my head up high enough to see the opening at the top of the bricks. The way the mortar was intruding into the space made a clear path down for a fish tape impossible. Using the Endoscope, and the controllable end, I was able to snake the camera down the void and pull up a twine and then pull down the electrical feed. Well worth the purchase price to me. I'm sure I will be using it in the future.

Excellent video quality
My first use for the scope was to inspect a potential problem with wiring under my dash before deciding if I should pull it apart. The video quality was fantastic. I didn’t realize how good till a couple of days later I used our S**p-On scope at work to do something very similar. This is hands down better for a fraction of the cost. The materials look durable, and there are a multitude of functions that add to its versatility. It can even capture video. Another function I see useful in the future is the microphone, I can see lots of use for this identifying engine noises, pulleys, snd squeaks.I’ve seen scopes at H****r Fr***ht and on line that might come close on price but this one is legit. I’m glad I picked it up for my tool box.

Great high-definition, full color endoscope. I
This is a great high-definition, full color endoscope. I bought it to replace my 15-year-old endoscope which died recently. I'm impressed with the image detail, and the variable, built-in light source. But unlike my old 'scope, this has at articulating camera, so you can look around once you get the endoscope inside something you want to inspect. I consider this an essential feature for a truly useful endoscope. I will use it to look inside engine cylinders, as well as inside walls or under furniture. It also has the ability to take photos, which are stored on a memory card, so you can easily share what you have discovered. It's not a tool I use every day, but I certainly would not want to be without it. Good value for money.
