PutnamsKnee Pillow

Don't Automatically Follow What The Photo Shows
First off, I sleep on my side most of the time. I have had back pain/stiffness for many years. A knee pillow helps greatly in alleviating this. I am also a keen runner. The strap on this pillow is very poor. Thin material that doesn't retain its shape and can roll up into an uncomfortable, potentially painful, rope around your leg. The "velcro" fastener is not large enough. My main complaint is the photograph that shows the cushion positioned between your lower thighs. Over the weeks that I have used this pillow I have developed very stiff and sore quadriceps (thigh muscles) just above my knees. I couldn't at first understand this. Till I realised it was this pillow that was causing the issue. As soon as I started to position it lower down, directly between my knees, the pain and stiffness ceased. The position shown in the photo places a lot of pressure and strain on the tendons around your upper knee which can lead to additional problems and stiffness.I also no longer strap it to one leg. As I lie on my side I position it under my bent upper knee which provides enough support without the risky strap around my leg. Plus it avoids undue pressure between my knees.

... so I brought this and it is a lot better but it takes a bit of getting used to ...
I was advised by my chiropractor to use a pillow between my knees to help with my back problems I tried a normal pillow but I found it kept moving as I turned in Bed so I brought this and it is a lot better but it takes a bit of getting used to it does seem to help with My back problems.

Takes getting used too
Bought this because I have two problems in as much as bad knee and pain in lower back, used this and immediately it did help with both areas. The strap is a good idea because as you turn in the night the knee pillow turns with you. Just feels odd and takes a bit of getting used too.

Fab n recommend to anyone
This is a fab item. I have seem some others where the foam is so hard it's bad for you and some where it squishes to nothing. This is fab..just the right amount of give and no risk of pressure sores. I am paralysed and use this so knees don't push on each other. Over time my weight has changed dramatically..initially skin n bone on knees and now much heavier but the item still gives correct amount of protection. Also helps with alignment so less pain above/near injury point. Also bought for a friend who has terrible trouble with her knees..reported back very favourably too. I would recommend to anyone. Also priced bit cheaper here than direct from Putnam. I bought one direct and one here. Same item, no defects, no imitation

Good Delivery Time, Not Sure about product
it arrived nice and quick, and was a good price - however....I really struggled to keep it between my legs, even with the help of a velcro strap!i just use a long pillow now, which is just as good for mehaving said that, it might be fine for other people

Comfortable and enough though if you don't need it to ...
It's an okay product, but the Velcro fixing is very flimsy and didn't keep it stable during the night. Comfortable and enough though if you don't need it to stay in place or don't turnover very much in the night.

would be great if smaller all over
the velco strap is too big for me so doesnt stay in place.
