I used this to build a small "alarm" system. Not for burglars, just to scare off my dog who used to chew on toilet paper rolls. It is pretty loud using a 9v battery. Worked magic! I'd say it sounds more like a siren than a buzzer.

I only needed one but this was the least expensive option. One of the three did not function at all, the other two work well.
