Broke within 2 days of receiving it
We are a pediatric occupational therapy clinic, so use our toys heavily. At the same time, we had this product for years before without a problem. It finally broke, so we replaced it. Within 2 days, the center plastic had ripped out of the frame. I don't know if is is being made differently now than the original, but I would not recommend it. It is sad that so many companies are forced to change their production methods to decrease costs - I don't know that this is what happened, but it seems a safe assumption.

My dreams died along with one of the rackets
I was so excited to find the Sonic Smash rackets! And then one of the rackets broke the first time my husband and I played it on the beach. What a bust. I miss the good ol' days of Sonic Smash when the rackets lasted longer.

A mistake to buy the cheaper item. Go for the original at about $29.
