Buzzing noise on an Inspiron? Probably the fan.
Had a buzzing noise issue with my Dell Inspiron laptop. I initially thought it was the hard drive reaching end of life. When I opened the laptop I was quickly reminded that I had an SSD hard drive. The fan was the only remaining suspect, ordered, swapped, noise gone.

It literally said "bad on the packaging...
If this is a review on buying a "bad" laptop fan well, it's great! Non working fan with authorization by a person. I did however expect a functioning fan due to mine went "bad". A bit surprised that this fan was actually "bad"er than OEM broken fan. Kudos...

Not the right fan for my laptop despite description
Packed well and it's clearly a fan for a laptop. Looks new.Unfortunately it is not the right fan for my laptop, although my laptop model is listed in the product description.I guess that's what happens when you don't yank out the fan first to make sure, but I wasn't keen on opening up my laptop and THEN finding out whether or not a replacement fan was even available, how long it would take to arrive, and letting my laptop just chill sitting open and collecting dust and cat hair while this happens.
