Very product wrt installation & functionality.Picture quality good as promised, No problem detected with the sound.Have been using it for 20 days the good thing about this it automatically detects and decodes the type of sound. As of now only tested the DD 5.1 & LPCM. Need to test the other formats. Primarily purchased for audio.

Excellent Product.Compact, works as advertised.Easy to set up, if you have a basic knowledge of HDMI cables and how to use the sound output.Will solve sound bar (bluetooth connected) sync issues too.

Value for money. It's a great product. It's solved our audio lagging problem while watching movies in projector.we normally connect the. Audio via bluetooth only.but audio lag issue was there. After using this device our audi quality improved and picture quality also improved.

I bought this device to extract HDMI audio to be sent to my old but very capable stereo amplifier. I was previously using my TV’s Audio Out to supply the amplifier but was not satisfied with the TV’s audio processing. From the point of view of audio quality, this device does a good job. There is a noticeable improvement in audio coming from the amplifier.However, this device has a big problem. After a month and a half of use, it began (and continues) to drop the incoming signal. The TV will not receive video and the amplifier will not receive audio for a few or even many signals. It is a random problem – an hour of flawless performance followed by disconnections every 10 seconds, or the other way around – but it occurs every time the device is used. Additionally, the audio extraction sometimes fails when the device begins working again – the amplifier doesn’t get sound when the device regains signal but the TV receives video – but either way it ruins the experience of sitting down with family to enjoy a movie.I can eliminate the problem very easily by unplugging the input HDMI cable from the Orei device and plugging it directly into the TV – the problem disappears instantly, and reappears quickly when the signal is again routed through this device. This proves that only this device in the chain is causing the problem but I bought a new, short HDMI cable that supports all the latest standards just to eliminate the cable as a potential cause of the problem, but the problem occurs irrespective of which cable is used.The frequent intermittency makes this device a waste of money which is a pity as the audio quality improvement is very nice when it does work as expected.

I had bought some other company hdmi audio splitter which did nit work for my samsung 50" old lcd tv... I had returned that back...This product aftergetting confirmation from the seller i bought... This is very compact and adequate for your requirement... This works only for 2.1 channel with 3.5 mm jack or optical port.This will not work for 5.1 channel... Plz be aware.. Only negligible issue is volume is too high.. and you should keep it at very low volume... If you increase the tv volume you will hear the voice from tv..This means both tv volume and 2.1 channel speakers works simultaneously..One plus point is you can mute tv volume Completly and use 2.1 speakers.THOSE WHO HAVE PROBLEM WITH SAMSUNG TV HDMI AUDIO SPLITTER CAN USE THIS OREI AUDIO HDMI EXTRACTOR. THIS WORKS NEATLY.👍👍

extremely good quality with smooth operation wont be a problem if you a good sound freak… best!!! absolutely recommended for the price the sound quality is crisp and clear and also the picture output am using it with ps5 on a lg monitor the colours are still great it doesnt hamper the picture quality only it cant run 4k 120 fps its clocked at 60 but coming with that size i mustnt complain too compact i must say and feels premium also…
