Uncle Bens Long Grain and Wild Microwave Rice, Bulk Multipack 6 x 250 g pouches

I purchased this six pack of rice out of convenience. While I could have picked it up at the grocery store, I do have a prime membership that I fully intend to utilize!The rice comes in a packaged box of 6 individual pouches. At £6 for 6 bags, this works out at £1 per pack which is phenomenal value.The rice is ordinary and tastes like any other microwaved rice. I did read one comment which said this rice is spicy? I think that individuals is mistaken. There is absolutely no spice in this rice at all.Like any microwaved rice, squash the pouch to separate the rice granules (no one like a solid block of cooked rice!) make a small tear in the top of the pouch and finally pop it in the microwave for 90 seconds. DONE!Pros:+Decent mild flavour+Separates easily+Inexpensive at £1 per packCons:-Would love to have the opportunity to purchase the basmati type for the same price.Bottom line:This is a great buy and it means you don't have to worry about picking 6 packs of microwaved rice off a grocery store shelf while fellow shoppers secretly take pity on you...

Got these on a subscribe and save and love them. They are easy to prepare and taste great

A little expensive against buying in the shops, but okay if not able to get in the shops.

Probably one of the most chewy microwave rices. I expect it from supermarket alternatives but not from Uncle Ben's. Not my go to microwave rices
