I grew up with the annoyance of trying to solve Rubik's "magic Cube" (and yes it was called the magic cube when Rubik first invented it before it became branded under his name). I was great at getting 1, sometimes 2 and on rare occasions 3 colours but as a child I had to resort to pulling the stickers off or prising it open with a screw driver to rearrange all the parts and "solve" the puzzle. This Lego compatible Magic Cube is the perfect answer. It's the same size as the original cube and the frustrating goal is the same, mix it up and then try to get all the colours back without smashing it against a wall in frustration. With this version you can now simply reset it with a Lego type tool and in minutes have all the tiles back in the right places to start again.The cube arrives in a box without any of the colour tiles attached and you also have a bag that contains 60 coloured tiles in 6 different colours plus a tool to help remove tiles after they've been fastened - this is identical to the tool you'll find in many Lego kits. You need 9 of each colour to fasten to the cube and you get one spare tile in each colour. The mechanism is great in that everything moves freely without any sticking and you can have hours of fun trying to solve an age old classic.Being a Lego type puzzle I originally thought I'd get this for my daughter to play with as she really loves Lego, however on receiving it I quickly decided it wasn't for her and was something that was essential for me to have in my study for those tedious meetings I attend each day. This cube is make up of Lego blocks so it looks so unique and interesting.The cube comes with flat coloured pieces so you are able to practice solving the cube, but if it's to hard they can be rearranged. It's a great way for learning and practicing without worry of not being able to solve it again.The cube is very smooth to turn and it dosent catch on itself. The cube is also more flexible that others I have had in the past so it can be pulled alittle, this helps it from getting damaged.
