I normally don't wear anything but Skechers brand shoes but I needed some waterproof black boot types and I couldn't find anything I was satisfied with in their lineup.Decided to try these out because they checked all the boxes. They fit my wide feet comfortably and seem durable. The zippers don't feel cheap, haven't broken, and zip easily. I find them to be very comfortable for my feet but I know that's highly subjective. If you like the Skechers-esque fit then you might find these a good substitute too.I tried ordering another pair from this brand but didn't have quite the same experience with them so I'm not sure if the same can be said for all shoes but this boot in particular works very well for me.

bought on sale for just over $50 so the price was perfect to try these out. I liked the fact they had a zipper and the 8 inch height. Once i got them i first noticed the cool design and how good they looked. First time trying them on, instantly loved how they felt, very good cushion. I have now wore them to my job doing security but I bought them for yard work. So far they held up to a few construction projects, lawn care and hiking. Great quality tactical/work/hiking boot for the price. This is my 2nd pair. I bought the black colored one of the same design about a year ago. The only thing I noticed is that the inner side where the ball of the foot bends tends to rip over time. That is ultimately why I had to buy a new pair as I wear these every day on concrete floors at work walking average of 5-10 miles a day and lots of up and down action (kneeling, lifting). I did replace the inserts with Dr, Scholl’s Gel work boots inserts which are far superior for comfort and they are some of the most comfortable work boots I’ve owned. I highly recommend these if you are hard on boots and on a budget. Deforest get the Dr. Scholl’s inserts though if you work on concrete as I do, and/or if you need that better arch support.

I’ve only had these a couple of weeks but I’m loving them! That said, I work as a dispatcher so I’m not on my feet all day like others in law enforcement, but when I am up and walking around, it’s like walking on clouds, they’re so comfortable and cushiony! I’m a female, normally a size 8.5 or 9 in women’s shoes. The standard rule when buying men’s sizing is to go down two sizes. I did just that, bought the men’s 7 and they fit great. I also love the side zippers and the matte black look. It was difficult finding tac boots without leather, I think these were the only ones I found. I’ll see how they hold up over time but so far you can’t beat the look, the comfort, or the cost.

Lightweight, will padded, breathable, convenient on / off.These are comfortable and quiet. I'm a security guard and do a lot of walking. These qualify as bots, but they wear like a sneaker or lightweight hiker. I use the elastic locker laces with all my boots. Combined with the side zip of these and they are nearly perfect. I will buy them again when I need a new pair. I just hope they're available.

I use them for riding my motorcycle and work. They give enough confort and vibration dampening for both my situations. Nice zip up and good color. Have had them for about 4 months now working in construction and nothing to compalin about will buy again

Just needed some inexpensive boots for yard work.ight weight. Comfortable so far. Really too early to rate well since had them a week. Did take quite awhile to receive them. Mostly cause of delivery system. Down side. Made in China. Didn't say this in review. Just imported. Figured that where made.
