Easy install
Works great just look up your AC brand and follow instructions carefully.

Bought this to install in the old Coleman A/C unit in my '96 Prowler travel trailer. I have a 3000 running watt inverter generator and before, it was a struggle to get the a/c to start. Most of the time the generator just tripped into overload protection. After installing this product, the a/c fires right up and the generator doesn't even notice. I can run the generator on eco mode and it still fires the a/c up without any hesitation. Upon initial impressions, I can say this is a great product, especially for the price point when compared to similar products. Time will tell how long it will last. Will update review if anything changes.

It does its job. However Don't rely on instructions.
Works as good as the brand name one. Fraction of the cost. Instructions sucked on it though, and by the way, it tells you to watch a video... However, the video is no longer there. Luckily tho I have a friend in the ac business, he's installed 2 now for me.

Great Buy!
We can finally run the ac while hooked up at our older home. This really works well, was easy to install, & is definitely worth the money. We have had no issues thus far & plan to buy a second one for other rv ac unit.

Do Not Buy! Installation impossible
I gave this a shot and even asked for support. This product ships with no installation instructions of it's own. The YouTube video referenced on the documentation that it ships with is for installing a competitor's product. The wire color and number of wires need to be more consistent. You risk damaging your AC or potential fire hazard with this product's neglect of providing adequate information.

Amazing
This soft start worked perfect. We hooked it to our Colman Mach a/c in our rv and we could not believe the difference. It was easy to install, had it done in about 30 minutes. Our generator ran smooth, no lugging!!

No instructions
Seems to work fine. Installation is a joke, follow the directions for a competitors brand. If you don’t wanna fuss around with all the BS, buy the more expensive one with directions. The link they give you no longer works because it’s a competitors video. Chinese copycats!
