Don't be put off using this to make hand sanitiser just because it is labelled for livestock; surgical spirit is surgical spirit, whatever its usage, and this contains the necessary requirements for destroying coronavirus.I wish I could remember all the chemistry behind it that was explained to me by a chemist in great detail about why this works, but the bottom line was "it works"- as long as you mix it with an emollient such as Aloe Vera or glycerine to prevent skin from drying out.Note- the 500ml bottle is £12.65 (at time of writing this) and *not* the 1 litre bottle, as I incorrectly thought.

10 times normal price for that side. My mistake thought I was getting 2.5L. Unable to return apparently as flammable, but was obviously OK to send in first place.

Bottle was damaged and leaking already in the packaging , received almost empty bottle. It just created a mess. Money gone to waste.
