Gunsmith Giant 11: Red Mountain (Gunsmith, The) Mass Market Paperback – September 26, 2006

The Gunsmith is at it again, coming to the aid of an old friend, another old west real time outlaw in a mud town on top of a mountain. Non stop gun action and plenty of female companionship for Clint Adams.

In the past I was an enthusiastic fan of the Longarm series but I have read most of them and they are no longer publishing anymore new ones. This has forced me to look for some other adult western novels. I began reading a few of the Gunsmith (Clint Adams) series of adult western books and just finished reading this 264 page action western (The Gunsmith Red Mountain by J. R. Roberts A gunsmith giant novel) tale.This story begins with Clint Adams (The gunsmith) being in the town of Ouray, Colorado just because he received an unsigned telegram requesting his help. The letter promised $1000.00 and since he was bored in Texas he decided to take a little ride to meet an unknown person.As it turned out the man who sent the telegram had been shot and killed before Clint had a chance to talk to him or whoever actually was requesting his special services. Like many of the gunsmith books there are always puzzles to figure out and it seems wherever Clint Adams goes his reputation follows him. I never give away too much information which spoils it for anyone who wants to read the book; however, if you like the gunsmith series you may want to check out this western tale.Rating: 4 Stars. Decent plot and story line.

I enjoy these books.

This one was somewhat different for the Gunsmith, had some surprises in and some new people.
