No starter or paperwork of any kind.=======My message to Innovation via Amazon was immediately responded to. New starters were sent out without any delay or quibble. I was also told that the instructions were attatched to an early Amazon email, which was true. Not somewhere that I would have expected to look for them though.The tube is made of plastic rather than glass. This makes it much lighter to handle, but it does sag slightly under it own weight. The tube is slightly shorter than expected and so does not clamp tightly in my old 4ft light fittings. Nonetheless the tube does work correctly, producing flicker free, brilliant white light. Superior light to previous tubes that I have used.I would certainly recommend trying these tubes, but Innovation would do well to reconsider how they distribute them.

A brilliant replacement for a conventional fluorescent tube. The light is bright but not harsh. Viewed with a simple spectroscope the output is surprisingly evenly balanced with slight blue dominance.. A perfect light for the kitchen. Incidentally the colour balance is much better for photography than the conventional fluorescent although a bit of tweaking is still necessary. Oh, I nearly forgot, it saves money too.

Used this to replace existing power hungry T8 tubes. Took seconds to fit, no messing around with ballast just swapped the old starter with the one supplied and job was done. Light given is bright and wide angled, a single tube was perfect for the room size 5m x 6m, instant illumination no warm up time from on, and sips daintily from the grid in comparison to the old standard tube. Would recommend.

What a great product and so easy to set up that even a technophobe like me managed it. I just took the old starter out of the ballast bar and replaced it with the one provided then removed the old tube replacing it with new one. The light is bright and does not flicker and comes on immediately

Useless. The tube seemed to be short in length compared with the one it was meant to replace. This resulted on loose (on no) connection with the electrical contacts. Result? Nothing. Certainly no light given out.No, it is not my light fitting that is at fault. I bought a new "real" fluorescent tube which fits perfectly. Tried this item again and, again nothing. I noticed this time as well that it seemed to sag under its own weight, probably adding to the poor electrical contact.It wasn't expensive and I can't be bothered to send it back.

It was very easy to install: change the starter, put the tube in. The light is bright white and it comes on instantly when switched on. Very Happy.
